Chapter 1-3:

There we stood waiting by the door. I stood there, feeling extremely awkward because Suzumai and I didn’t really have a chance to get to know each other before this moment, “So um this maybe a touchy subject but May I ask how you died?” I asked Suzumai.
       “Well I love challenges and I’ve been good at fighting since I was little so I decided to enter a national fighting tournament. Even though I am a girl I can hold my own and I won the tournament. After the fight I washed up in the girls locker room and as soon as I got dressed I head the door. I looked to see who came in and it was the male fighter who I had fought in the last championship round. I tried to asked him what he was doing there, but before I could finish my sentence heard a loud bang and everything went black, when I talked to Yama he had told me that the man shot me in the fore head and even though I was dead he continued to shoot me in the face with his hand gun until he ran out of bullets. Well that’s how I ended up here. What about you?” I told her my depressing back story and she looked at me and said, “I thought you may have committed suicide, I kind of got a vibe from you that made me think that’s how you died.” All of the sudden the demon door ripped open with fire bursting out from it. There was a bright flash and out of the fire came a fire covered beast. The fire disappeared from the beast and revealed an Imp looking thing. The demon took a blind side swipe at Suzumai’s head with its claws.
       “You mother fucker!” I yelled as I turned my powers on as I sprinted at the demon it disappeared. I heard a frightening laugh behind me, I turned around and the demon had reappeared behind me. He lunged at me and scratched me across the chest with his claws ripping my shirt in the process. Suzumai ran over and grabbed the demon by the throat and lifted it off the ground. I ran over and shoved my fist with my powers on through the demons stomach and ripped it in half. The demon fell in two pieces on the ground and then suddenly there was a loud crack, Suzumai and I looked at the door and it exploded and was gone. We looked at each other confused.
       “What happened?” I asked Suzumai as she shrugged her shoulders.
       “Hi!” King Yama said as he popped out of nowhere between Sumumai and I.
       “Holy fucking shit! Where the hell did you come from!” I yelled at Yama.
       “Watch your language” he told me.
       “Ok fine, then what’s going on?” I calmly asked.
       “Well after a demon comes through a door and the demon is defeated then the door explodes and is destroyed. So every time you defeat a demon I have to assign you to a new door, but right now there are not new doors open. So I’m going to take you to a house that you two will have to share until a new door opens for you to guard.”
