Nias eyes stay clamped shut as she stretches out and realizes that shes no longer laying on a bed, but solid and cold material of the floor she was now laying on. "Where am I?" She inhaled a shaky breath as she looked at her new surroundings. Startled, she moves back against the wall of the cold room before trying to have a recollection of memory on what happened, but her head began throbbing in desperate pain, it was all too fuzzy. An unconscious tear fell down her face and plopped on the floor. She curled up, hugging her knees in hopes that someone would save her.
Had she been kidnapped? There were so many different things that could've happened but she wanted to stay on the positive side. Reaching for her head she realizes that her ears aren't as they used to be. Feeling around it, she came to the conclusion that they were slanted and pointed. She wanted to get a better look of this herself. Maybe she was an experiment?
"Are you scared?" The voice of a boy echoed throughout the room but wherever Nia looked she couldn't see him. "Up here." The voice said again. When she shifted her view she realized he was hanging from the ceiling. "How are you..?" She blinked her eyes in pure confusion. That wasn't possible, at least it wasn't possible on Planet Earth.
She stood up to get a closer look and he was more attractive than he looked from a distance. He had flawless skin to say the least and his hair was an unnatural silver color. His orbs were an amethyst color that made her heart skip a beat. His nose was slim and straight, his full firm lips, and his rather skinny figure. But she didn't stand up to admire his apperance, she stood up to ask him where she was.
"So, where am I exactly?" she bluntly asked. "You're one of the misfortunate ones, like me, you got sucked into the crack of space and time." He casually said. She gave him a strange look, how could he be so calm while saying something that sounded so deadly? "And what does that mean, exactly?" She questioned him.
Anything that would give her knowledge on how to get out of here as soon as possible would help make her life so much easier. "It means we havta fight to the death to go back. Only two winners get to go back to the real world. All the others die even in the real world." He told her. "Fight to the death?" Nias became wide-eyed, this had to be some crazy dream or something and she was sure we going to wake up sure.
He started up the conversation again. "Yo, you're an elf, thats pretty cool. Elves have some pretty cool powers, well thats what I think." He placed his chin on his head nodded. So she wasn't imagining her ears. She took in a light aggrivated breath as before leaning her back against the wall. "And what are you supposed to be?" She was amused to hear his answer. "An assassian," he said before shrugging, "At least thats what the guy told me when I came here."The guy?" She asked.
"You ask a lot of questions, I got here maybe a day before you. I'm as new as you are. I've been waitin' to get out of this room for the longest time," he took a deep breath, "the guy told me that we'd be released today to start fighting. I was waitin' for you, you're my fighting partner." He jumped off the ceiling with a thud, "Its nice to meet you. I'm Luke." He extends his hand and Nia shyly takes it before shaking it.
The white walls arround them started to rumble and shake. Afraid, Nia clutched onto Luke before it stopped she quickly let go. Not that Luke seemed to mind it at all. The front of the wall lifted up to reveal a whole bright light, they both placed their hands in front of their faces to be prevented from being blinded. After it faded away, the pathway was clear as day.
"You guys ready?"
