I will Protect you~ (Part Three)

" Me and (your name)'s mother didn't blame (.....) because it was her destiny to die at a young age. It's all God's will. We can't change it," Suho was shocked when he heard your dad utter that name. He was familiar with that name because that person was his late girlfriend.

" Suho ssi. Are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost or something," you came out from nowhere.

" Appa.. What did you said to Suho?" you asked.

" Nothing particular. Just about your sister," your face turned gloomy. You hate it when your dad talks about your sister because you didn't want to remember how she dies. It was so painful that it left a big scar on your heart.

" Oh..," that was the only word that you could utter.

" (your name) ah, you okay? You look kind of pale, dear." your dad became worried when he saw you getting pale.

" I think you should rest (your name) ah. Mommy will prepare the dinner, okay." your mother said insisting you. You shook your head.

" No, I'm fine," you forced a smile.

" Okay, dinner's ready. Let's eat," we all headed to the dining table.

As time flies, it was already 8.30 PM.

" Oh, look at the time. It's already 8.30 PM. I guess I need to head home. My parents will be worried if I'm not home by 9.00 PM,"

Then, you assist Suho to the door. " I hope you had a great time today. See you tomorrow at school," you bid goodbye.

" Bye, good night," Suho waved his hand and left your sight.

When Suho left he was really numb. He couldn't think straight. He can't imagine how hurt will you be when you know that Suho is your sisters ex. Suho realize that if you know about it, you will hate him forever. How could he face that? So he decided that he will keep it as it is. He didn't want to tell you even if he knows that it is a selfish thing to do. But, he doesn't have a choice.

Meanwhile you lock yourself in your bedroom. You sit at the edge of your bed. You were really dumbfounded. You started to remember the time when your twin sister was in state of dying. You cried your heart out that time.

~FLASHBACK~

The sounds of the monitor echoes through the room. Wires were attached to a girl's body. The fragile figure could be seen lying on the bed. You were sitting next to her holding her twins cold hands.

" (...) ah!! Please wake up!! I beg of you," you pleaded while tears streamed down your cheeks.

You plead and plead to your sister as your parents calm you down. Even though you can't bear to see your beloved twin in that state, you still wanted to be near her when she is struggling to live.

As a few minutes past, the monitor began to show critical lines. At the end, the monitor ends up to a straight line meaning that your twin has already pass away. Knowing that, you already lost hope to live. You didn't want to live anymore. You couldn't bare to live in this cruel world without your one and only sibling. The one and only person that you cherish the most gone from the world. Now, who will be the one protecting you? Your older twin was the only one protecting you all this time, now she's gone.

As you were at your sister's death ritual, you can't help but cry and cry till you can't. As days past, you can't help but cry. It's the only thing that could make you sleep at night. Your parents even sent you to therapy to calm yourself. As years passed, you started a new life.

~THE END OF FLASHBACK~

As you remembered what happened, your eyes felt teary. You couldn't hold it back anymore. Tears streamed down your cheeks. You hugged your knees and cried all night long.

The next morning you realized that you slept on the cold floor beside your bed after being awakened by the knocks from the door. You opened the door revealing your mother's figure.

" Oh, omma. What is it?" you asked rubbing your eyes.

" (Your name) ah. Are you okay?" your mother begins to worry seeing your pale face. She puts her hand on your forehead. It was as if a boiling oil in the pan.

" Aigoo. You have a fever. Let's go to the Hospital, okay?"

" I'm fine. No need to worry. By the way, I need to go to school today. I have a project in the science lab that I need to finish. I'm going to get ready so please prepare my breakfast omma," you said weakly.

" Okay. Before going to school, eat your medicine first. And if you're not feeling well at school just give me a call. I'll pick you up right away," she said worriedly. You just nodded and you headed straight to the bathroom to take a shower.

After you finished getting ready for school, you walked down the stairs with your backpack. You felt really dizzy and light headed but you ignored it and focused on getting to school. You ate the breakfast that your mother prepared earlier and left for school.

As you arrived at school riding the bus, you walked to your locker to get your books and found Suho standing behind you.

" Hi. Good morning," he greeted and gave you a warm smile. You smiled weakly at him as you were really dizzy.

" (Your name) ah, are you fine? You look sick and pale. Do you want to go to the nurse's office or something?" he asked worriedly.

" I'm fine. I'm just..." you didn't get to finish your words as your head felt really light and your body felt numb. The world turned blurry and soon it was dark. Suho catches you before you could stumble to the ground.

" (your name) ah!! Wake up!! " Suho panicked. He caressed your cheeks. He felt the heat. It was like a burning building. Then, he carried you to the nurse's office to get some help.

As soon as he enter the school infirmary, there was no one that could be seen. Even the school nurse. There was a notice that says 'The nurse won't be available for a couple of hours'. Suho began cursing when he saw that notice.

But, after giving a quick thought, he decided to treat you himself. He laid you on the bed and he left to the bathroom with a basin. He filled it with water and he soak the dry towel and he put it on your temple to cool your temperature down. He repeat it a couple of times until the heat from your body decreases.

After 2 hours, you were awake. The moment you opened your eyes, you saw Suho sleeping soundly beside you while holding your hands. " What happened?" you groaned. Your head still hurts.

" You're awake? " when Suho saw you were awake, he felt really relieved. He hugged you tightly.

" Here, take these pills and eat it. " he gave you some pills and you swallowed it after drinking the water.

" Now, you should rest more. If you want something to eat just tell me,"

" Wait.. What about class? "

" Don't worry about that in this kind of situation. Worry about yourself," you just nodded. Seeing him take care of you seems like a dream. 'Why is he so nice to me? Is it because he likes me? Aniya! Get to your senses (your name)! You're just friends with him. Nothing more or less. Besides, no one can ever replace his ex' you thought.
