Naruto looked at his dull green duffle bag, wondering what he should change into. Pulling the zipper, he opened the bag and began digging through the mess of clothes, looking for anything he could wear to exercise. Upon finding a loose orange t-shirt and some white sweat pants, Naruto changed into the clothe quickly before closing his duffle bag, letting the clothes he had been previously wearing rest on the floor. He could pick them up later. Walking out, he found Sasuke sitting by the door, wearing a pair of black sandals that covered his feet entirely except for his toes which Naruto noted were as slender and beautiful as the rest of Sasuke. A pair of blue sandals, very similar in design except for the color, sat next to Sasuke and the raven haired male stood up, motioning to the sandal.
“Put those on. They’re what you’ll end up wearing around here for the majority of the time. For how much moving we do, they’re the most comfortable,” Sasuke stated and Naruto nodded his head a bit, taking off his socks and slipping on the sandals, tightening them as he pleased before kicking his socks back into the bedroom to join his other clothes.
“Alright, I’m ready, then,” Naruto stated and Sasuke gave him a once over to make sure the other would be able to move in the clothes before nodding his head.
“Amazing…”
“What is?” Naruto cocked a blonde eyebrow as they walked out of their cabin, following the other male through the trees near their cabin as they headed in a direction unknown to Naruto.
“You and my father have the same shoe size,” Sasuke mused and Naruto blinked before looking down at the sandals then back at Sasuke. It had been the first time he heard Sasuke sound amused and he chuckled softly.
“Is that so? Well, your father and I have something in common,” Naruto chuckled and Sasuke smiled slightly, the movement of his lips so slight it was barely noticeable, but Naruto noticed it and he grinned brightly.
They walked in silence through the trees, Naruto occasionally stumbling on a tree root or twig, the sound of their feet hitting the green grass and dirt being the only noise. Sasuke walked nimbly through the trees, the route being familiar to the male and he could easily avoid stumbling or falling. By the time they arrived at the area for the lesson, Naruto was exhausted and wanted nothing more, but to head back and sleep.
Campers were only just starting to gather and Sasuke sat down on the lush green grass happily, clearly pleased by the fact they got there on time and not late. Naruto plopped down next to him, releasing a sigh of relief and Sasuke looked over at him, onyx orbs showing slight concern.
“Are you not accustomed to walking?”
Naruto shook his head a bit. “No, I am. I’m just not used to walking through nature.”
“I see you’re one of those… This place might be a bit of a hell for you at first, then,” Sasuke stated softly and Naruto was about to ask why, but someone falling from a tree made his jump slightly, looking over. Sasuke slowly stood up, walking forward to greet the person that had landed neatly in a crouch after he had fallen.
“So, you’re the poor person that got stuck with the Uchiha brat, huh? I pity you. The last few people that were stuck with him ended up leaving, never wanting to return,” a voice said and Naruto jumped slightly, looking over to find a male with red triangles on his face and messy brown hair. The guy sat down next to him and Naruto blinked, azure orbs showing nothing but confusion.
“How come?”
“They said they couldn’t handle Sasuke, so they left,” the male stated before holding out his hand. “I’m Kiba. It’s nice to meet you,” the male, Kiba, introduced himself with a smile and Naruto accepted the hand, shaking it.
“I’m Naruto.”
Well, Naruto—ah, wait, it’s starting.” Kiba looked over to the center of the area and someone was standing there, but just standing there. They weren’t saying anything. The place fell silent, everyone seeming to be holding their breaths. The guy in the center was wearing sweat pants and a shirt similar to the one Sasuke was wearing only this one was navy blue. The male’s eyes opened and he looked around.
“Hello, everyone, I’m Iruka. I’m glad you all managed to make it on time,” the male said before sighing. “Well, most of you did, at least. Our head teacher and head of the camp have yet to arrive, but we will start anyway since we have sent someone to get them. I hope you guys have gotten settled and for those of you haven’t, you will hopefully settle soon,” Iruka said, looking at everyone with a kind smile and Naruto noted the guy had a scar along his nose horizontally.
“Iruka!”
All heads snapped in the direction of the person who just jumped off a tree, landing neatly and jogging to the teacher.
“Yes, Sasuke?”
Naruto blinked in surprise before looking closer, seeing it was Sasuke, his slender body standing strong and proud in front of the instructor and his raven hair was in perfect place.
“They said they would be coming soon. Tsunade slacked off on work again, so the two are finishing it up,” Sasuke stated and Iruka nodded.
“Well, since you’re up here, do you want to help with the demonstration of what this place is about?” Iruka asked and Sasuke gave the instructor a curt nod in response. “Alright, well, everyone, this is Uchiha Sasuke—one of the finest we have ever trained here. Now, I don’t know how many of you have actually asked your parents what this camp is about, so I’ll have Sasuke tell you a bit about it since he sums things up pretty well.” Iruka gave a small sweep of his arm and Sasuke nodded his head, giving a small bow to the campers in respect. Everyone clapped and Naruto glanced at Kiba who was clapping as well with a grin.
“The action’s going to start soon,” Kiba whispered to him, voice holding clear excitement and Naruto cocked an eyebrow before returning his attention to Sasuke who had begun talking.
“This camp teaches you agility, fighting, and how to train your senses. We use martial arts, weapons and teach you all sorts of things with high end training. I suggest you all prepare yourselves mentally because with the work we do, it’ll take a blow on you physically, mentally, and emotionally, so keep your guard up. That is all.”
The campers sat there with wide eyes, wondering how Sasuke managed to say it with such a calm face and with such authority.
“Um, excuse me?”
Sasuke looked to the side to see a small, thin camper raising their hand and he nodded his head a bit to give the other permission to speak.
“C-can you show us a bit of what we’ll learn?” the male asked and Sasuke blinked before glancing at Iruka who gave a small nod in response.
“Sure…”
Everyone backed up as Sasuke and Iruka both took a couple steps away from each other, Iruka getting into a fighting position, knees bent, one foot behind the other, legs shoulder width apart, hands hanging by his sides while Sasuke merely stood in his spot, legs shoulder width apart, face calm and composed. Naruto found himself marveling over how the other male still managed to look beautiful despite the fact that they were about to fight.
No one saw Iruka move, but suddenly he was in front of Sasuke, arm drawn back, delivering a punch right next to Sasuke’s head for the raven had ducked, crouching on the ground. He swept his leg around, spinning his body in a circle, effectively knocking Iruka’s feet from under him. The instructor caught himself with his hands, flipping so that he was on his feet again, Sasuke standing as well.
Sasuke made the first move now, flipping over the head of Iruka before jabbing his elbow into the other male’s spine. Iruka stumbled forward a bit before whirling around. What unfolded before all the campers was a fast martial arts battle, their movements nearly a blur from how quickly they moved and Naruto found himself watching Sasuke, the way his pale arms moved, blocking each advance and then delivering blows of his own.
No one saw what the raven haired male was planning, not even Iruka and he let Iruka’s fist connect with his chest before doing a back flip, back curving beautifully and he let his hands touch ground, swinging his legs up, his foot connecting with Iruka’s chin and Sasuke flipped himself over, landing on his feet once more, hands at the ready to block. Iruka had stumbled back from the force of the blow before falling, caught by someone who was behind him. A guy wearing a mask that covered the bottom half of his face had his arms wrapped around Iruka and Sasuke straightened, bowing in greeting to the male before stepping to the side quickly as a punch was about to be delivered from behind, but missed.
“Nice to see you two arrived,” Iruka mused, pulling himself away from the guy with the mask and the woman who tried to punch Sasuke from behind stepped forward, grinning.
“Well, hey, campers. I’m Tsunade and that creepy guy with the mask is Kakashi. I hope you enjoyed the example put on by our very own Sasuke and Iruka. I’m assuming they covered what this camp was about and we apologize for being late.” Tsunade shot all of the campers a grin, but most of the guys were enthralled by her huge breasts and the girls were all drooling over the three males up there.
“So, to sum this all up—” Kakashi started and they all smiled except for Sasuke, who merely stayed perfectly still, Kakashi’s arm slung around his shoulder.
“Welcome to Konoha Camp!”
