her back faced him when
the cold wind blew upon their
skin lightly, making her shiver a little
why? why he came now?
after all of those years she wasted for just waiting for him,
why now? out of all times?
why he came when she already forgot about him?
her body trembled, afraid of falling down
tears streamed down her beautiful face,
she exhaled. this is going to be alright.
can't you at least give me a second chance? said he,
under the raining day. it was hardly raining.
the same like him- who was hardly breathing upon
seeing her standing by the edge of the rooftop
her heart ached. his heart ached.
both was at pain. but both ever shared memories.
but they knew that they weren't mean to be together.
they just knew that.
no, that was her answer,
without even looking at him
if only he knew, what did she feel
he would come back earlier, he would
just for her
she was not the only one that hurt, he did, too.
his pain, hurt more that it should be.
it hurt more than her pain.
it was too late for saying sorry, anyway.
but, she had thinking otherwise
she wanted to burn all her memories- their memories.
she wanted to let go of it all.
she wanted to kill her memories.
that was why she jumped.
that was why he just let her like that.
that was why neither of them stopped each other
that was why he should let her go
because maybe, not everyone deserved a second chance
(but he had tried)
