No one knows about them and no one should know. No one was supposed to know but somehow, they did. 

She was married to one of her childhood best friends, famous as one of the key men in history to have saved the world. Everyone expected them to be together and pressured, she accepted his proposal. At the beginning their love was sweet and she was constantly in a state of euphoria, knowing that the man she loved for years was finally hers. But being one of the saviours of the world came with a heavy price. The attention and fame got to him and he began to come home later than normal and sometimes wouldn't return home for days. She thought it was work but now she knew that he was partying with women as he always came home with the sickly scent of another woman's perfume clinging to his clothes.

He, on the other hand, was forced into a marriage where his wife loved him but he did not reciprocate her affections.  He couldn't stand seeing his wife waiting for him all night and scared of his sudden responsibility towards his wife, he avoided her completely. He never talked to her and slept with multiple women to eat away his guilt. He wasn't sure when but the guilt soon turned into hatred. He felt nothing towards his wife except for burning hatred because she was an extra burden that he had to carry on his shoulders and because she was the reason that he wore a disgusting gold band on one of his fingers.

They were never expected to be together. But somehow she managed to find comfort in the man that made her cry so many times during her childhood. And somehow all the guilt and burning hatred and his conscience went flying out of the window every time he was in her presence. They knew what they were feeling was wrong. It was all wrong. They weren't supposed to be meeting up. They weren't supposed to be talking to each other on a daily basis. And they most definitely weren't supposed to be finding the comfort and the affections in each other that they couldn't receive from their respective spouses. They had no idea how it began but it just did and they both became the air that the other could never live without.

Because I love Dramione too much, I felt like I needed to write a story. This idea popped up to be out of nowhere and honestly, I have no idea where this story is actually going to go. But nonetheless, I hope that all you Dramione shippers out there will enjoy reading this fanfic as much as I will writing it.
