England pushed back his bangs in frustration, exhausted from the infinite pile of paperwork he has laying on his desk. His adrenaline hit his bloodstream while he was thinking about how America used up all of the meeting time by explaining ways to communicate to aliens. Instead of going according to scheduled plans, England has to do all of the work that America did not do. Needless to say, England was fed up with doing America's work all of the time. "Fucking Americans, I swear..." He mumbled under his breath, anticipating the next time he catches sight with America, just so he could give him an ear full.
"Hey! Dude! How's it hanging, man?" America opens the door, giving England his obnoxious, toothy grin. England slowly looked up at America, malificent emotions were sprung out of the exhausted male's eyes, shooting America the most evil glare ever given. America came to a halt when he walked toward the other, feeling slightly uneasy about England's appearance, "You okay? Dude, it looks like some spawn of Satan possessed ya, or something..." He tried to laugh it off.
England gave a small, fake smirk. "I do, do I?" He pushed himself away from the desk and stood up, closening the distance between him and America, "Well, maybe this will ring a bell!" He picked up the stack of papers and threw them at America, "Do I look I am your slave?!" His breathing increased, as so did his anger. The papers slowly waved side to side as they floated back to the ground.
"Whoa! Chill... I'm sorry, man. I seriously forgot about that. I didn't realize you were the one that did it all. I can help if you want." America kicked aside the papers and stepped closer to England, "I think you need a break. Come on, lets go get some burgers." He started to walk out, hoping that England would take his offer.
"Chill? You want me to chill?! And you didn't ever think about maybe asking if there was something you could help with?" England shook his head, "Just forget it, Alfred. I don't need your help." He waved his hand off at him, "No, you go ahead and eat your filthy food by yourself."
America stopped dead in his tracks and turned around at England, feeling a bit pissed about the situation. All America wanted to do was hang out with him and have some fun. "Well maybe ask for some fucking help next time, you stupid Brit!" He lashed at him and left. England chewed on the inside of his cheek, furious at him. Instead of picking up the horrid mess he created, England left the room to get some calming, Earl Grey Tea.
"So I hear the weather is quite calming right now." Japan dropped by. England jumped slightly. Since when did Japan drop by the office?
"Oh, Uh, I suppose it is, Japan." England gave him a look showing that he was quite confused and unsure about Japan's company. Japan hummed to himself and entered England's office while he was gone. Arthur walked off to the Galley and heated up the kettle.
"Sorry, Arthur. I should have asked." America walked in like a puppy with his tail between his legs. America really didn't mean to be mean, but, England could really be stupid and there is only so much stupid he could take.
"It's fine. Just leave me alone." England shortly stated. America wasn't one to be told what to do. England could tell America to do anything, but he could never make him do anything.
America kept by England's side and smiled, "Do you have to be like this? Let's just go get something to eat."
There were crumbs on the corners of America's lips, showing that he just ate some food. England sighed, "You already ate, you git."
America smiled and shrugged, "Well I can eat again! Eating solves all problems!" He wrapped his arm around England's shoulders, giving him a light squeeze. England's eyes grew slightly and he pushed himself away from America. It felt off being hugged by him. Sure, America was trying to lighten up the mood, but England wasn't comfortable about it.
"What's wrong? You don't like being hugged by a handsome man like myself?" He winked. America loved teasing England about being a homosexual; even though America did not know that England really was. It was amusing to see England squirm and blush. Seeing those thick eyebrows move in surprise was just as cute as it got. America found himself wanting to show more affection to the young man, hoping to see more of these adorable expressions.
England stayed quiet while he poured the hot water in the cup and put the teabag in the water. Did America know? How? England made sure to give no signs to him, or anyone. Maybe he just didn't realize he gave the signs. "Fine. We can eat, but I will have to finish my cuppa before then." England pulled on the teabag string, dipping it in and out of the water.
"Come on, man. Japan! Get back here!" America called over.
Japan, curious about the obnoxious, white male, walked in, "What is it you want?"
America took the cup of tea and gave it to Japan, "Here drink this for England. He needs to go eat his problems away."
Japan tilted his head slightly, "... But I don't want to. This is not right for me to drink tea that someone made for themself. I cannot do this." He gave it back to America. His dark, mysterious eyes flicked back and forth, staring at the two white males. He noticed something off going on about the two. "Uh.. Nevermind. Arigato." He took the tea and scurried out of the room, avoiding conflict.
England sighed, "Lets get this over with." America gave a small smirk. England really hated the fact that America won this argument, even though this whole fight was America's fault.
The two walked up the street to a little burger joint. America kept his pace fairly quickly, excited to eat with England. On the other side, England wasn't too thrilled. He walked a few steps behind America, kept his pace at a minimal so it didn't look like they were both going to eat together. England had a reputation to hold and having America by his side was not going to help any.
"Ladies first," America held the door open for England. A scowl spread across the british man. Without a second thought, England grabbed America and pushed him into the building first. "Dude chill! I'm just joking!"
"I don't have time for your petty games, America. Lets just get this over with so I can go home and stay away from you." England snapped. America slid into a booth, watching England slid in across from him. "This is ridiculous. If people see me with you, I swear to the bloody queen that you will fall under enormous consequences."
America ignored him, "Hey! Yeah I will have a couple cheeseburgers and an order of fries. Same with my friend here!" He gestured a hand toward England. England looked up to find Spain waiting on them. Spain had a surprised look.
"England? What are you doing here with America?" Spain asked. This was rare. England and America together.
"Oh it's not what it looks like! You see, we are talking business and America, here, wanted to eat, so here we are." England tried to make up a small lie.
"What? No we're not, England! It's because you have a crush on me and asked me out, right?" America asked.
"You're gay?!" Spain cried out.
"No! I'm not. For the love of Elizabeth, get out of my face you scum!" England yelled at Spain and turned his face toward America. England's face, normally pale, turned a bright red. How could America say such a thing out loud? "America... Is it you, by chance, that has a crush on me?"
"Finally! It took you this long to figure it out? God... England! I may be stupid but I'm not as stupid as you think I am. Give me some credit once in a while. Of course I like you, you filthy brit! ... Only because I knew you liked me back." America bit his bottom lip, giving England a seductive smile, "You do like me, too, don't you?"
England was caught in the element of surprise. Well for one thing, America sure knew how to keep things classy. America's lip bite made England's face blush more, "I-I... H-How did you know? How long did you know this? When?" England asked so many questions. He was left dumbstruck by the man before him.
"Ah, so you do like me! I guess we can call this a date, then?" America winked.
England started to fume at the ears, "America..." His teeth clenched while he talked, "This was supposed to be about making up for the fight earlier. Not a date."
"Your food, England..." Spain spoke, setting the plate of greasy, unhealthy food before him. England almost lost his appetite by the sight of the food. America, on the other hand, was drooling over his own food, immediately stuffing his face full of fries. England tried to keep his smile from appearing. It was difficult to keep from smiling while watching this American swim in pleasure from eating unhealthy food. He looked kind of... adorable. England looked back down at his plate and picked up a fry, and tossing it into his mouth.
"Not bad..." England commented. The food actually didn't taste all that bad. In fact, it was kind of delicious. England scarfed down his food, "America... I'm sorry I judged you too quickly. That food was rather amazing." He licked his lips. America nodded, waving it off.
"Are you done? Because I guess we have some papers to work on." He made sure to emphasize "we" so that England knew that he wasn't on his own.
England nodded. His blue eyes stared at America, in deep thought. Did America really want to help him? England's heart slightly fluttered and his shoulder's relaxed with ease, knowing he wasn't going to work by himself with all of those papers. America paid for the food and nodded at England to come along. 'Maybe America isn't so bad after all..'
"See you two, next time!" Spain waved at them as they walked out of the resturaunt. As America and England left, France, who was sitting near America and England as they talked, walked up to Spain.
"Spain... he's lying. You know, about being gay.." He leaned on the counter. France loved to gossip with the others about relationships.
Spain smiled and laughed, "Of course I know! I knew since England began liking America. I just want to pester him about it."
France frowned slightly, "And you didn't tell me?" Spain shrugged and walked into the kitchen, leaving France fuming at the counter.
"You really want to help me with my work?" England asked.
America rolled his eyes, "I wouldn't offer for nothing! I'm America, I have to keep my priorities straight. You will have to repay me when we are done." He clicked his tongue, opening the door to go back to England's office. England narrowed his eyes at America. Of course he should have known that. What was England thinking? America doesn't do things for free.
America's blonde hair swayed as he walked happily into England's office. England could keep his eyes off of it. It looked so soft. How could that boy manage such an attractive image? England cleared his throat and sat at his desk, sorting out papers for each nation. "America, you do Prussia, France, and Canada. I'll do Germany, Japan, and Italy. I don't want you to screw things up with them." He sighed, putting France's papers in a single pile, "Just do this as I sort them out."
America paused, "Wait... Prussia, France, and who?"
"Canada."
America thought for a moment, "You know, I kind of feel bad about always forgetting him."
England nodded, "I think we all forget him often... " He went along with the small talk.
The organization of the papers took a while, about an hour and a half, before they could actually work with the papers and agreements, contracts, finances. It was beginning to get frustrating for the both of them by how long it was taking.
"Is it getting hot in here?" America asked England, bored out of his mind.
England shook his head, "No, it isn't. It's actually rather chilly for me." He stapled papers together. America frowned slightly and looked at the thermostat which only said 65 degres Fahrenheit. So it wasn't cold. It was just him. England thought about repaying America, "So how much do you want for helping me?" He looked up at the bored American sitting beside him at his desk.
"Well I don't need money, that's for sure." He bit his bottom lip, hoping England would catch on. America was always a lusty guy. But, this was England. England had all of the perfect physical features that America looked for. A fit, young man that had his times of dominance and also was submissive. He liked a guy that would share the work, because obviously, America didn't like doing work.
"Of course, because it's not like you have a shitty economy right now..." He held up America's papers. America glared and snatched the papers away from England, embarrassed. "So if you don't want money...?" He trailed off, looking up at America, "I don't know what else I could give you."
"I think you know." America spoke almost inaudibly. England didn't catch what he said and glanced at him once more, "England... I know you're kind of a conservative dude, right? You always seem to work all the time," America gave off a casual tone - a tone that gave the inkling that he had something definitely in mind, "Don't you think you should just have a little fun sometime?" America leaned closer to England and whispered in his ear, "Fun with me, for example." With that being said, he nibbled lightly on England's ear.
England's skin shivered and goosebumps formed. His face flushed from sudden contact, but England wasn't pushing America away. He never seemed to actually let himself go, have fun, do things with people. America was giving him a chance. Honestly, England hasn't really been with another mate for quite a while. France always tried hooking up with him, but France creeped him out especially by forcing marriage. "A-America.. " He let out a long breath, closing his eyes, "I-I can't..." He opened his eyes again and began to staple more papers together, pulling away from the physical contact.
America knew better. He knew England just wasn't confident and he needed a little 'push' to get started. "C'mon..." he straddled on top of England, pushing him back into the chair, "Just relax and have fun."
'What have I done.' England chewed his bottom lip anxiously, looking up at the horny, blue-eyed blonde that stared lustfully into his green eyes.
