one; girlfriend's sister - smut romance - main story image

A A A A

"I don't get it!" Chad shouted angrily at his girlfriend, his eyes squinting at her. "You already said yes, Jess. Why the sudden change of mind?" He frowned as he looked at her. It was yesterday that he had invited her to go with him to celebrate his friend's welcome party. And she said yes. But now she said she couldn't make it. She always does.

He heard Jessica sighed. "You know I want to be with you.. but Chad please do understand. Today is my best friend's birthday. And I should be there." She said as she cupped her face.

He jerked back away from her. He was angry. He was upset. "You shouldn't have said yes in the first place. My friends are expecting you to come with me."

"Chad, please understand. Kylie's my best friend and I've never seen her for awhile now." When he remained silent, she sighed again. "Bring Natalie along with you instead of me."

"Are you kidding me?" He scoffed, unable to believe what she had just said.

"Why? What's wrong with that? Every time I couldn't come along with you, Nat's in my place. She's with you whenever I couldn't"

"That's the point! It's always her! She's always your replacement!"

"What do you want me to do, Chad? To be always your puppet?!" She snapped.

"I'm asking you to act like a girlfriend, for heaven's sake!"

A knock on the door interrupted them. "Hey, guys." It was Natalie peeking from the door. "Everything's okay?"

Chad stared at his girlfriend coldly. "Fine." He said, then headed to the door. He flung the door open that made Natalie jumped like a startled cat. "You're coming with me again." He told the startled Natalie, emphasizing the last word.

"What?" Natalie asked, confusion was written all over her face. "I..I'll just go get change." She said then ran towards her room. With that, he turned his back and waited for her inside his car.

"Chad, slow down please. You're driving too fast." Natalie muttered that made him turned his head towards her beside him. He sighed as he slow down a little bit.

"Sorry." He muttered, emotionless.

"I'm so sorry for what my sister had done to you, Chad.." She said. And he could detect sincerity in her voice. "I know she's so stupid sometimes but please don't hate her."

He glanced at her for a second then got his eyes back on the road. "I don't hate her. I'm just upset..angry.. I don't know. Is it me being so selfish?"

"No." She said. "You just need her time, that's all. You're not being selfish, it's just my sister is self-centered. I don't know where did she get that trait."

He gave a throaty laugh. "And you? You're not self-centered?"

"Hmm, I don't know." She smiled sheepishly. All of a sudden, he felt light. It was odd but he always realize that Natalie had this kind of effect to him. Whenever he's on a bad mood and then she starts talking, all the bad energy from him  would just disappear. "So, where are we really going? It seems like we're driving for ages."

He chuckled. "We're heading to a party. My friend just came home from Chicago so we're celebrating his arrival."

"Too bad, my sister drops this opportunity to know your friends." She muttered without looking at him. "Just tell me if you want me to give her a mental slap, okay?"

He laughed but he didn't say a word. Few minutes later, they arrived at an enormous house from a private subdivision . He parked the car first before he got out of the car and opened the door for Natalie. "We're here." He said as soon as she got out of the car.

"Your friend is rich." She said with a smile. He just gave her a smile, more like a smirk. They walked together, her arms snaked around his.

"Hey, Chad!" Someone called. Both of their heads turned to the side and there he saw his buddy, Mason. He saw his friend's eyes dropped to Natalie and he doesn't know why but he wanted to pluck Mason's eyes out. "Girlfriend?" He asked as he reached them, without looking away at Natalie.

"No, I'm his girlfriend's sister." Natalie answered before he could open his mouth.

"I see." Mason's eyes sparked. He was clearly interested. And dammit. He felt like a protective brother at the moment.

"Nat, this is Mason Harper, my friend from Chicago. Mas, this is Natalie Henning. Welcome back, bro." Chad pat Mason's arms not-so-gently that Mason jokingly pushed him. "Where's the rest of the team?" He asked his buddy.

"Over there, at the pool. But Brad's not here yet. I don't know where that idiot is." Mason said.

"Nothing peculiar about that. C'mon, let's go there." He said, looking at Natalie who just gave him a smile.

"Is it a pool party?" Natalie whispered beside him.

He smiled. "Don't worry, it's not."

Chad felt Natalie yawned beside him. It was already past eleven in the evening and still the party didn't stop. He looked at her just as when she looked at him. "I'm sorry. Are you sleepy already?" He said softly.

She shook her head slightly. "It's okay. I understand, Chad. You never see your friends for a long time so you can chat with them for as long as you like."

"Nah, I'm getting tired anyway." He said then stood up from the chair. "Excuse us guys, but we need to go back to Seoul now. So sorry guys."

"Aw, Chad, don't be such kill-joy." Tyler said.

"I'm really sorry guys but Nat's sleepy now and"

"No, I can't let you go home guys. It's dangerous for both of you to go home. Besides, I do think Chad is tipsy. Chad, buddy, I know you drank three, or five, glasses of tequila."

"No, I'm not drunk." He said but he felt the world slowly spinning around him.

"But just tipsy." Drake smirked.

"C'mon, I have guest rooms. You can sleep there." Mason insisted.

Chad looked at Natalie. "Is it okay if we'll not go home tonight? I promise, we'll get home by tomorrow morning."

She blinked at him as if trying to digest everything. "Uh, it's okay." She said.

"Okay." Mason muttered. "Let me take you to your room." He said then guided both of them to their room.
