eight; for her not for me - smut romance - main story image

A A A A

"NO!" She growled at him. "Drive me home or else I'll move out and take a bus instead!" Panic engulfed her system. Where on earth would he be taking her? For heaven's sake, she doesn't want to be with him! She noticed Chad looked at her like he was amused at her.

"Relax, will you?" He said, stifling a grin on his lips. When he skidded the car off the parking lot, she wanted to scream and run away.

"No! Stop the car, Chad! I'll go home by myself!" She squeaked but then Chad had clicked on the door lock. She stared at him wide-eyed. "Where the hell are you taking me?!"

Chad laughed instead despite her fuming. "Geez, just relax Nat. I just want—"

"Chad, if you're hoping that we could do it again then forget it. I'm not gonna let that happen." She cut him off. He turned to look at her for a couple of seconds. "Damn, keep your eyes on the road Chad!"

His face turned serious when he looked back on the road. "Hell, if I want it again Nat I'll just gonna do it here in my car while you're here lock up inside, not anywhere else." She gulped at his words. Tiny beads of sweat slowly appeared on her forehead. "Trust me, if I want to have sex with you again, I want it now here inside my car."

His words ignited her desire for him even more. Damn! She gulped for the nth time. "Ch-Chad, stop the car. I..I'm going home."

He sighed. "I just need your help, 'kay? Trust me, I'm not taking you to a place you don't wanna go."

She closed her eyes in hopelessness. There's no way Chad would really stop the car and let her go no matter how she will beg. She sighed as she rested her head on the headrest and looked outside the heavily tinted window. Good thing, Chad didn't speak again. She had time to calm her friggin desire that rose within her.

Moments later, the car stopped in front of a jewelry shop. He slid out first and opened the door for her, just like he used to do everytime he was with her. His left arm slid around her waist and guided her inside the shop. She frowned at his gesture but she decided to keep her mouth shut and let his arm rest on her waist. Inside, they both went to a counter where silver and platinum rings were placed.

"Help me find which is nice, 'kay?" He said as he looked at her.

"A..are you going to buy one for J-Jessica?" She doesn't know why but her own question hurt her.

A slow smile crept on his face. For her, it was somewhat a sad smile. "Uh, yeah.." He said, sounding so unsure. "So which one?"

"Um, it doesn't mean that she'll like what I like." She said.

"Well, you're sisters so I guess you have the same interest."

She sighed. "If she doesn't like it, then don't blame me okay?" He gave her a heart-stopping smile before he nodded. She looked down and scanned the silver and platinum rings displayed in front of her eyes. Everything was so nice she couldn't decided which one is nicer. But one ring caught her attention - a diamond platinum ring. She stared at it. She had dreamed of herself wearing that kind of ring all of her life.

"Found something?" Chad's voice had her blinked away her thoughts.

"Uh, this one. It's so beautiful.." She said softly. Part of her doesn't want him to buy that ring, especially that he'll give it to her sister.

He looked at her intently as if reading her eyes. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure. Jess will like it." She said with so much difficulty as she turned away from him. She proceeded to the display of bracelets on the next counter as he talked to the sales person. What is happening to me? Why do I have this weird feeling? Am I falling in love with him?

"Hey.." Chad's warm breath fanned on her neck as he spoke. She turned abruptly only to find him so close to her, she stepped back an inch. "Let's go." He said smiling at her, in his hands were a small paper bag that has a Tiffany & Co. written in the center of it.

"Please don't give it to her..." She mumbled incoherently then gasped aloud. She had said it aloud.

"I'm sorry I didn't get that. What was that again?" He asked, lines forming on his forehead.

She sighed in relief. "I said, let's go home now."

He smiled at her as he pinched her cheek lightly. "Thanks for coming with me, Nat. Thanks for the help."

"No problem.." She said, words almost unaudible.
