I woke up when someone screamed. I sat up in shock from the sound, until I realized it was me who screamed. In a second, all I saw was the burning house and the 3 men. Then it slowly disappeared and became my room. I looked around, with a hard beating heart. 
 
Beside me a boy rubbed his eyes tired. 
"Emma?" He whispered and I felt his hand on my back. "You're okay baby?" He sat up beside me, and his hand moved so he could hug me from behind. 
 
I nodded slowly and sighed.
"Is it the beasts?"  Adam whispered and rested his chin on my shoulder.
I nodded again and he gently pulled me down. 
 
I rested my head on his chest and closed my eyes. 
"It's okay." Adam whispered. "They're not here. Just sleep, I'll protect you." 
My hand found his, and he braided our fingers. 
 
Adam is my boyfriend. He's a vampire, just like me.
But there's a difference between us anyway. 
 
Cause I'm a beast. 
 
The beasts is a terrible kind of vampires. They love to kill, and make war. They like to manipulate others. They're evil. Those men who bite me was beasts. They were sent by some people who didn't get along with my father. They wanted to kill me. But they failed.
 
I woke up on the field the morning after det fire, 70 years ago. I was soon after found by some neighbors who had seen the fire. They took me to the hospital, but nobody could tell what the hell had happened to me. 
 
I was pale, my eyes were red and I was in incredible pain from thirst. 
They gave me water, but I throwed it all up again. They explained the red eyes as an effect by looking into the fire for too long. 
 
I knew they were wrong. I didn't knew how, but I knew they were wrong. When I got out from the hospital, I disappeared. 3 years later I was found by Adam. 
 
First, he tried to kill me. "You're a beast!" He had yelled. "You deserve to die!" 
But then he had noticed my face. He had seen the fear and he hesitated. He found out I wasn't like other beasts. 
 
If a beast wants to kill, it kill.
If it wants to make another beast, it make another beast.
But I am a beast, made by beast who wanted to kill. I'm different.
 
Adam and I fell in love with each other. His family who all are normal vampires, let me live with them. They protect me from the beasts. Cause when the beasts found out that there is a different kind of beast in the world, they tried to kill me again. They want to kill me.
 
I still get that nightmare about how I become a beast. I still see my moms face, filled with fear. 
 
 
 
 
I woke up the next morning by a kiss. When I opened my eyes, I saw my Adam right in front of me. His dark brown hair, fell into his eyes and he smiled. 
"Morning Emma."
 
Adam was born  in 1907. His whole family is vampires. His father became a vampire in 1856, and he bite Adams mother in 1887. Vampires can get kids as well as human, and they gave birth to 3 boys.
 
Aron was the eldest. 
When Aron was 9, Ty was born.
9 years later again, Adam was born.
But between Adam and Ty, Lynette became a part of the familie too.
 
Lynette isn't a vampire. But she's still immortal. She's a witch. 
She's Ty's girlfriend and live with the family to. She's like a sister for us, and a daughter to Adams parents. She's my best friend. Both of her parents died In the First World War, and she don't even know how old she actually is.
 
 
Adam and I, went down to the kitchen. Even though we are vampires, we can still eat normal food. The others already sat around the table. Adam grabbed my hand and we joined them.
 
"It's right!" Ty was saying with a serious face. "I saw it in the news last night!"
Aron shook his head. "Don't listen to the news you idiot." He laughed.
"What are we talking about?" Adam asked curiously and took some egg on his plate.
 
"Ty saw some ridiculous news about Hitler still should be alive." Aron laughed.
"Idiot." Adam chuckled. "Weren't you the one who foresaw the suicide?"
Ty blushed when he realized that Adam was right. 
 
Vampires also have som abilities. Ty can tell us what will happen tomorrow.
Aron can hear everything up till 10 miles from where he is.
Adam is strong. He can run really fast, and lift heavy objects. 
Their parents, Aileen and Andrew, who sat at the head of the table and smiled can both smell really good. 
 
I have the same abilities as every other beast. I know exactly where to hunt, which people i should hunt and the best methods. I can shock people easily and move around without a sound. 
 
"Where's Lynette?" I asked when I realized she wasn't at the table. 
"She's-" Ty started, but Lynette herself interrupted him. 
"Right here." She said and ran down the stairs to join us at the table. 
 
She smiled at everyone and kissed Ty's cheek before she sat down beside him. Lynette is always the smiling one. She's always happy and jump around like another child. But of course she also have sad moments. Even though she mostly is happy, her mood can change really fast.
And her mood always have an influence on every one else. She's a mood bomb.
