New Multichoice Game/Story [Dark/Smut/Mystery/Romance] - Thoughts and Ideas

I want to write a multichoice story, and my aspiration is for it to be a text based Otome game.

I've played probably every free and demo otome game that is in English. I become so obsessed with "Winning" that it's ridiculous. I usually pick the 'Tsundere' guy because they're the most difficult - It's probably an illness...

Anyway, it’s been on my to-do list forever. I know I already have a lot of other stuff but still…

I have two problems:
1] I have several plotlines which I want to use but I can’t decide on which genre/ the kinds of things people WANT to see in such a game.
2] Whether to make it an original story or a K-Pop one. And for the latter, which singers to use.

Most of you know of my inability to write pure fluffy romance so the stories will either be:

•    Crime-Thriller/Horror-Psychological-Mystery.
Or
•    Supernatural-Fantasy-Horror-Mystery.

Both stories will contain dark, twisted romances and smut.

You will play as a female character who isn’t your usual goody-goody, perfect at everything kind of rich-girl. I like to write strong female leads, so there will be more than the fair share of back-sassing and sarcasm.

I’m open to all sorts of ideas.
I may even take on a co-author.
