The Tropical Cup and Saucer Vine aka Cathedral Bells and Cobaea Scandens, These types of vines are one of the easiest fast-growing vines they’ll be the most exotic and tropical flowers in your garden. You can find much more info with Plant Spot - plant identification markers app.

These vines are often grown as a flowering annual in most zones but grown as a perennial in zones 9 to 11 the flowers start very pale greenish almost white, they slowly begins to change colors fading into a stunning purple-blue or pure white flower...

Native to Mexico and tropical South America these vines can grow as tall as 10 to 20 feet tall in one season and as wide as 3 feet to 6 feet in the same time frame given the correct growing conditions. Believe it or not, this beautiful flowering vine is considered to be a weed in New Zealand.

It's Important to remember when growing these vines that you will need to encourage germination by nicking the seeds, then soak them for 8 to 12 hours in water before you plant them.

Don’t plant them late in the season its best around March and plant them close to a fence or use a trellis or provide stakes for support so that it can attach to once it starts off on its journey to becoming incredible climbing vines that create a magnificent flower.

Make sure to plant in full sun to partial shade with well-draining soil. Pick a spot where it will have the room. These big and showy 2 inch bells will crowd and will fight to be seen on this super-fast, extremely showy twining vine!
