After the gas booster pump is used for a period of time, there will be faults such as the booster pump not working or the pressure being slow. Now Shandong Xinnuo Xiaobian will analyze the reasons and solutions of several common faults of gas booster pumps through performance.
1. Failure performance: When the driving gas pressure is not lower than 20psi, the driving part does not work or does not circulate.
Possible causes: blocked air supply line or insufficient air supply; blocked air circulation valve; frozen discharge port; blocked muffler.
Solution; check the gas supply pipe and air pressure regulating valve; disassemble the air circulation valve and use a permissible solvent for cleaning; drive the gas with a higher water content and use better drying equipment; remove the muffler for cleaning.
2. Failure performance: under load, the drive part does not work, and there is continuous gas discharge at the reversing exhaust port.
Possible reasons: The spring of the reversing needle is broken or not suitable; the O-ring at the end of the reversing needle is not suitable or loses its function.
Solution; replace spring; replace O-ring.
3. Failure performance: the drive part does not work; the muffler leaks air.
Possible causes: insufficient drive gas flow; shrinkage or damage to the seal of the air circulation spool.
Solution; increase the driving gas flow; first check the seal of the air circulation spool, if damaged, replace it and assemble it for retest; if it is not damaged, check the sealing of the driving part.
4. Failure performance: the drive part works, but the gas is not pressurized.
Possible cause: The one-way valve seal of the gas compression part or the high pressure part is damaged.
Solution; check the one-way valve and the high pressure end.
5. The pump does not reciprocate, and the muffler does not exhaust or slightly exhaust
1. The reversing valve is stuck 2. The muffler is blocked
Solution:
1. Remove the circlip of the reversing valve, take out the reversing valve core, remove the dirt, apply grease and install it in reverse.
2. Remove the muffler and clean it up
6. The pump does not reciprocate, and the muffler exhausts a lot
Diverter spool O-ring badly worn
Solution:
Remove the reversing circlip, replace the reversing valve spool seal, replace the O-ring, apply grease and install it in reverse.
7. The pump moves, but the stroke is not in place, and the pump frequency is abnormally fast or abnormally slow
1. The firing pin is stuck 2. The firing pin O-ring comes off
Solution:
1. Unscrew the striker, use needle nose pliers to remove the striker, wipe clean, install and tighten
2. Unscrew the striker, reset the O-ring, install it and tighten
8. The pump operates normally, does not pressurize, or can pressurize or pressurize less than the rated pressure
1. The one-way valve is stuck or there is foreign matter in the one-way valve
2. The pressurized piston seal is severely worn
Solution:
1. Check the one-way valve, clean the dirt, and install it in reverse
2. After removing the single valve from being stuck, unscrew the red part of the muffler at the bottom of the pressurized cylinder and block it by hand. If the exhaust hole and the exhaust pressure are abnormally large during pressurization, it proves that the pressurized piston piston is seriously sealed. , replace the pressurized piston seal.
