a story of legend, war, and romance

When Chelsea Marks is forced to move in with her mother after her father's death, everything just decides to not go right anymore. She's moving from her small apartment in Minnesota to a large abode in the heart of California. New school, new friends, new way of life, it's all coming as a shock to her when she arrives on the marble doorstep of her mother's home, unsure of if she belongs here or not. 

Her school seems to make everything worse. Just after a few days, she's seeing strange things, experiencing sudden changes of emotion, and her friends turn into things that aren't... human.

Hi! This is my first actual story on here. I came up with this plot idea around three years ago, but never got around to writing it. Originally, it was going to be for myself, but then I figured, "Hey, why not post it up on here?" I hope you all enjoy what's going to come for this story in the near future.
