The main character is a sheriff Deputy. She does paperwork most of time for criminals that have

been captured, but she was finally called in to help. They were after a gang of badits

feared in all the west who were terrorizing town nearby. They had robbed big banks and were murdering people in the small town . While she rode on

her horse she spotted them and goes with a couple 

of sherrifs to take them out. But as they were sneaking up they got caught and here partners

were wounded. She shot back wounding some of their own. She was shooting at them but let her gaurd down from behind and  was taken.
