I’ve tried and tried but could never win. I am always abused with the utmost hatred from everyone. No one loves me; no one is willing to sacrifice their other friends to befriend me. Even if people do become these so-called “friends,” how can I trust them? Will they even like me? They don’t, I can feel it blowing through my veins.
I’ve been a good kid so far; being friendly and helping people when they need it, acting with courtesy and the utmost respect and expect nothing but a simple “thank you” in return.
“Go do the laundry,” my mother commands. I nod thinking that if I act well enough, she might just treat me better. “Hurry up, I have to leave to your grandfather’s surgery in 30 minutes.”
“Yes ma’am,” I reply and pick up the three bags of laundry and haul them into the laundry room. I sigh as I load the whites in first.
“Am I really just a slave under my parents?” I begin to wonder. “Why don’t they ever make my sister do anything? They must be biased.” I sigh once more as my father’s voice booms through the house.
“Come clean the bathrooms!” “Yes sir!” I yell back to him. For the third time in a row, my lips spread slightly as I breathe out yet another sigh.
I step with care as I make my way up the stairs. “There you are,” my father says. “The appointment has been moved to an earlier time so we will be leaving now.”
“Yes sir, I understand.” I bit my tongue as the polite words burn my lips. Speaking politely is getting really old.
“You better clean all the bathrooms, vacuum every rug and carpet, wash the dishes, take out the trash and take care of your sister while we’re gone.”
“Yes sir,” I secretly rolled my eyes thinking about how stupid it was for me to watch and care for my older sister. As soon as they left, I sighed. It was so tiring keeping a fake smile throughout the whole day and nobody cares about what you have to say. As long as you do what they say, there won’t be any problems.
“Hey,” my sister yelled from upstairs. “Come get my beddings. You need to wash them.”
“Okay,” I sluggishly drag my tired body up the stairs and to her room. “Oh, and by the way, mom and dad put me in charge.”
She gawked at me. “Seriously? They put you in charge? Ha! That’s funny; now go do my laundry.”
“Sure,”

mastermindriz on says about chapter 3:
you are the one who control your own life so why don't you think of a way to survive despite your horrible life? life is about survival, and by giving up your life like that, it isn't worth it.
we are bound to believe that parents are the heart to ours life and they are the people we must respect but if we are treated like _____, the whole value disappear. yes, they brought you to this earth but do you think you deserve being treated like this? no. your value now is respect people who respect you, and i do respect your life, so cherish your life cos who knows, you'll have a much better life in the future.
think again, why wouldn't someone be friends with you? or is it because of you insecurity - that make you thought that way?
at least, you have people that care and support you. so you don't have to crave for the attention of people who aren't willing to give you. your maids must knew how much pain you have been through, thus, letting you did that. however, it's still unacceptable.
so get rid of your negative thought and live your life, and search for the place you truly feel home .
byzelo on says about chapter 3:
I'm so sorry about all this, but I know being sorry isn't going to help. Trying to suicide isn't helping either, find something that'll make you happy… but if you need to talk, I'm here, okay?
