Mysterious transfer student

"Chihiro-chan~ its morning!" I was woken up my mom's voice, i rubbed my eyes and slowly open them. My dimmed room was in a mess, i sat up as i saw more dirty clothes piled up at the end of the bed. I glance over the clock.

7:23AM

Ah. I'll be late to school. I got out of the bed and ran towards the bathroom to wash up, after i got dressed i ran around the room searching for my socks. Lift up the pile of clothes, nothing. Just then i heard squeaky murmuring sounds under the bed, i froze. A sootballs came out from under the bed, pulling something. I was relieved that it wasn't a big spirit. The sootballs ran towards me. It was my socks.

"thank you!" i said. I hurridly put on the socks and ran downstairs where mom and dad was eating breakfast, i took a slice of bread and ran off. Holding my bag while putting on my shoes properly as i ran through the neighborhood, the bread was hanging from my mouth. Just then, a sudden gust of wind blew. I caught glimpse of a boy with black long hair, my heart suddenly felt tight. When i turn to the right path, students were seen greeting eachother.

"ohaiyou Chihiro-chan!" My best friend, Mitsuki, greeted me.

"Ohaiyou,Mii-chan" i answered as i swipes of the bread crumbs.

"woke up late again?" i let out a sigh and nods, she lightly pats my head.

"dont worry atleast you didn't arrive last minute" she assured me, i gave a smile.

"oh right, did you heard?" she asked looking at me with her gleaming eyes.

"what?" she looks at me with a shy smile.

"there'll be a new boy in our class starting today...i met him" just by looking at her, i knew that he was goodlooking.

"so is he a foreigner?" 

"ah...thats a bit mysterious, he said he lived in Kohaku village far in the countryside. But i looked it up and it doesnt exist" When Mitsuki mentions Kohaku, my chest felt tighter and i felt like i was about to cry.

"do you think he's an angel or something?" Mitsuki asked, i lifted my shoulders and smiled meekly. Then Mitsuki stopped, her eyes was staring at straight with her gleaming eyes. I look forward. A boy...so familliar.

Have i seen him before?

He was walking towards the school with a gentle expression.

"thats him" Mitsuki whispered.

"hey...do you know what his name?" i asked, eyes glued on him.

"Hayami Kohaku...wonderful name right"

A bell rang in my ear, i felt like a missing piece of puzzle was found.But its a small piece and still dont know what it is, but i know that it has something to do with this Kohaku guy.
