Prolouge

Sun watched from his throne as mass hysteria lingered among the citizens on New York City as the South Tower of the World Trade Center collapsed, disintegrating into nothing but rubble and dust. Some ran from the site, others stayed glued to the ground in shock. Those who stayed stared at the remains of the South Tower, unable to think rationally. Those who stayed would be suffocated by the dust or smushed by large debris during the collapse of the second tower. 

Yet Sun could only laugh at the terrified mortals. He didn't care for any human, at least, not anymore. You could say he was bitter about the humans forgetting about their true and original creator, because part of him was, but another part of him was sadistic and didn't care for anything besides him and the Moon.

"Idiotic mongrels...cowards, the lot of them." muttered Sun as he overlooked the dire situation of 9/11.

I never liked these humans anyway...they keep destroying the elements.

Sun, for once, smiled as he felt Moon's essence right next to him, watching the destruction. It had been too long since he felt her essence, much less make small talk with her. "I guess creating them was a mistake on my part." said Sun, bringing his full attention to Moon's essence.

If it was a mistake, destroy them. Let me assist. Let us join together!

Sun was taken aback by her demanding tone. He knew Moon as the calm one, the rational and wise half, whereas he was rash and had a short temper. "You cannot forgot about the warriors."

To hell with the 'guardians'! They haven't appeared since they passed on their power. Join with me, and we shall eradicate the human race. Don't you despise them as much as I do?

Nodding, Sun stood up from his glorious throne, saying, "We shall meet after 12 years."

Nice to see you agree to something for once. I shall see you after 12 years of preparations...farewell for now.

He felt Moon's essence disappear from his side, leaving him alone to watch over the hysterical humans on Earth. He would get rid of those pests finally and those guardians wouldn't be there stop him.

"12 years...get ready humans..." said Sun as he grinned maniacally.

"Your worst nightmare is about to come true."

just a small prolouge on how they lamely decided
to finally eradicate the human species. the time
is during the 9/11 terrorist attack, so if i have
offended or brought any unwanted reminders, i
