A A A A

Green grass, woodland creatures, tall trees, the sun beaming down upon all of humanity. It was beautiful. It was so beautiful; I miss it. I miss how every morning you were bound to see the sun. How the birds chirped their cheery songs in the morning. How the flowers bloomed in Spring. However, that wasn't long lived and it was soon taken over but what we call, Judents.

Judents were once human
were, as in was. In 1987, a medicine called Xutridine was produced and marketed. The manufacturer said that it would decrease the chances of getting Cancer, STDs, depressionhell, even OCD and ADHD. Many people took it believing the lies that were told about it. Two years later, people were coming down with a disease called Nuclijus-Andtridox. Most were clueless as to where the disease originated from and suggested that it was just mutation of the common cold or stomach flu. The medicine started to get popular. By the time I was born, the medicine was known worldwide. Of course with all of the lies about it being the "ultimate cure," more people took it thinking it would prevent them from catching the disease. Well, they were wrong. While nobody knew where this disease originated,  I did. I concluded that it had originated from the medicine itself. I tried warning people about it yet nobody listened. With me being only 16 years old and ignorant, would you have listened to me?

Many of my close friends took it including my boyfriend. What could I say? They were scared. After they came down with it, I was forbade to see them. What about my family? Yes, my family took it. It pained me to see them do so. My sister, my grandparents, many of my cousins, and my father. They all took it. My mother seemed to be the only sane one with a brain seeing as she was the only one in the family that didn't take it, apart from myself.

It didn't take long for the disease to take control of them. Give it two days; after that, they're gone. No, they didn't die. They became Judents. Judents are what you would call 'zombies.' Their skin rotted, their eyes turned orange, they were horrifying. Most of them lost their hair. If they didn't, just stands were left. Their eyes deepened, they lost all fullness of their faces, maggots filled their pores. They didn't just want our brains, they wanted our meat, and to turn us in to one of them.

I was scarred. The first Judent I came across was my father. Just as he cornered me, I watched my mother butcher him into pieces. Black liquid spewed everywhere. On my face, on my mother's face, on the walls. From then on, I had to learn how to protect myself from the Judents. One heart-wrenching turning after another, I saw friends get turned in to Judents. Some even died from the disease. The ones that were turned in to Judents were the lucky ones. The ones who died had a truly painful death. First, the diseased would enter a dream-like stated. Here, the happiest and saddest moments of their life were replayed in their minds. After that, their body would deteriorate as if they were being eaten away at by acid. It would start at their feet, and slowly make its way to their head. Some were shot because of the pain, and some just had to suffer through it. It was painful to watch. Honestly.

As long as I had my coaching mother, I would be alright. I would make it out alive. Me and her, her and me. Against the world.
