Prologue
Lilith awoke from her drug induced slumber in a shock, scanning her surroundings ferverishly. It was dim, a lone bulb hung from the ceiling of the bare kitchen, the dim light revealed a man carrying a small syringe. “Slept too late last night, didn't you?” said the mysterious man as he silently wrapped a noose around Lilith’s neck, she suddenly tasted a sour and salty taste around her lips. Lilith wasn’t a good fighter, neither was she strong but she still fought back even though she knew: This situation isn't going to end well. As she lay choking and flailing her arms around, she made out her murderer’s face but just barely while her drawed her last gasping breaths. A shadowy figure that wore what seems to be a black suit and a white necktie. Minutes later, she was dead with foam flowing out of her now limp mouth. “Another one to add to the list," he cheerfully said. "You were a fiesty one now, aren't ya?" The murderer got up from the chair and hung Lilith's body from the ceiling. From then on, he was known as "The Hangman". No name, no face and no witnesses.
