A movie was playing, and they were near the end.
"Please never--"
"This is stupid."
"It's not," Cyprien defended, not looking from the screen.
"It is. I'm tired."
"Go to sleep then."
Peter huffed and sat back on the couch.
His husband looked over at him and smiled. "What?"
Another huff, and now-folded arms.
Cyprien smiled and wrapped an arm around him. Peter, still huffy, rested his cheek to Cyprien's shoulder and closed his eyes.
"I love you, Peter."
"I love you, too."
