Description

Sometimes you don't win your crush's heart over so easily. Though if you manage, take advantage, because it probably won't last too long. 

Foreword

"Hey, Sarah!" Max called out.

"Hey..." I replied as I ran out to the soccer field. I stared at his face, but it might've been a little bit too long because my two other best friends began to laugh.

"We saw that!" Rebecca whispered loudly.

"... Shut up."

"Hey now, none of that! We've got to get started on practice, captain!" Linden said.

Yeah, I was captain of the girls' varsity soccer team. The three of us, me, Linden, and Becca were the 'aces' I guess, of the team. We love sports. And Max always came to support us. Even during practice.

"Gather 'round!" I shouted. And did I tell you that we held our own soccer practices? Our coach was only there to arrange games and such.

As we herded our team to the benches, I began to speak. 

"Do we have our equipment?"

"Yes ma'am!" One of my players said.

"Then get started! Spread out the cones and we'll start drilling!" I ordered.

They followed my directions and soon every girl on the team was running back and forth, dribbling a ball between their feet.

The one thing I didn't notice though, was that there was a pair of eyes watching me intensely.
