Description

Zachary David Alexander "Zac" Efron was always been a good man throughout his life. He had always been a gentleman, someone who looks after everyone, who makes a decision in accordance to everyone's sake but when the girl he loved chose his best friend over him, he started to change his perception and himself. His best friend was a cassanova, he doesn't know even know how he ended up being friends with him but all of his ties to him were over the moment he started hurting Lily "Jane" Collins. When Jane's company suffers from crisis, she's forced to work in allegiance with the biggest company in North America, Spectrum Enterprises. Before she knew it, the company's C.E.O was no other than, Zac, the last guy he ever wanted to see again.

"Dude, why are you doing this?" Corbin asked, drinking another glass of tequila. He shook his head and looked at him intently, "do you really hate her that much?" 

"No." He says simply, taking in another sip of vodka in front of him. He was looking at the glass, staring at it blankly. "I'm doing this for her." He confessed.

Zac met Jesse a few days before Jane was running into their company, asking for help. He told him that it was him who caused all of Jane's misery. All throughout those years, he still cared for the same girl.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm doing this to protect her." He swallowed his drink, as it swam down on his throat one thought was bore into his head. No matter what, I'll never let him hurt you again.

"What the hell was that, Zac?" She asked, storming inside the room, throwing the brown envelope she was clutching on her hands just a couple of minutes ago.

"What?" He lazily asked her, typing a report on his computer, it was for a proposal for a new project that he had been preparing for almost two months now.

"You rejected the offer?" She asked disbelievingly. "You know that I need this!" She rolled her eyes and looked at him furiously. "If this is about what happened between us before, damn it, Zac! Grow up!" 

He shrugged and looked at her coldly, "Do you really want to get that project?" He asked, their conversation was just something that he can neglect.

"Yes." She nodded, placing a hand on her waist. He smirked and stood up from his seat, finally letting his report alone. He looked at her with an intimate gaze, his eyes darting at her from head to toe. He took steps towards her and she finds herself trying to step away from him.

When she reached the edge, he cornered her, placing both palms on the walls, his arms carefully preventing her to escape from him. He leaned closer to his ears and that's when she held her breath, he smirked and whispered underneath his husky voice, "marry me."
