Tari is walking with his monster friend, Sakura. Other people would call her his pet, but he
prefer to call her a friend. The weather that day is a little calm but still quite windy.
The temperature is cold and let the weather be able to snow. Sakura is skipping happily
alongside Tari while humming gladly. She seem to get more and more into the so called,
Christmas feelings. And that is not so weird; it is around the corner in fact. They continue to
walk at a slow pace to the store in Lighthalzen. Sakura had mentioned it in the morning that
she wanted to go and look there. Tari had not got anything else on his mind so he agreed with
her.
The town soars with life. Decorations of all kinds paint the buildings to fit in to the
closing in holiday. There are Christmas trees, lighting lamps in different colours and so on.
Some children are playing in the snow also. The two goes into the store. It is not less active in
there, a lot worse. Much people are running around like crazy. They have to buy presents now
so they haven't got much time. It always happens that people forget and hurries to buy
something in the very end.
Sakura begin to look around for something. She walk around the
store in her cute Chinese outfit and hat on. Her cheeks have their usual pink colour which
make her to appear even cuter. But when she wish to look at the stuffed animals she see an
obstacle, there are too much people in the way. She handle out that situation pretty well; she
just jumped through and on the crowd. Sighing, Tari starts to also take a look around.
Time went on quickly and soon the evening arrive. It is no longer any people in the store
which make it easier to walk around. Tari have had a horrible time, but Sakura thought it as
pretty much fun. He watch her again. He see her clearly expressing happiness.
That remind Tari of something. He had not bought her a Christmas present yet! He has to do
so to show her his appreciation of their friendship. Tari tries to find a gift in a very stressed
mode. Then his eyes land on a adorable little teddy bear in brown with a red rosette on it.
He grab it and pay it to the store owner without Sakura's notice. Tari had nearly not the time
to do so before Sakura jump up on his back. gAre you done yet?h, she said. Tari nods with his
head and they leave the store.
The night is here on this very Christmas Eve. Sakura is still
humming merrily without a slight change since the past hours. They are on their way home to
the hotel. The darkness is thick and the only source of light are the candles hanging onto tree
poles beside the road. The temperature is now also much colder than earlier with many
degrees. Soon Sakura break the silence. gItfs surely nice with Christmas Eve now", she said.
After that she leap upon Taris back, hanging there and rubbing his face with hers.
- Have you a Christmas present for me ,she asks in a very eager voice.
- Yes, Tari replies and show her the stuffed bear. She receives it and start to run energetically
in circles on the ground.
- Thank you very much! , she said. She hug him very tight in front of him, around his chest.
Tari embrace her in return to answer her gratitude. Sakura hold the present with outmost care
as if it was made of pure gold. She is in a such good mode so she did not notice her lacking
balance while walking. Shortly she tripped and fell hard to the ground. She lose
consciousness and just remain down there. Tari give away a sigh, gsillyh he thinks for
himself. He gentle lift her up from the ground and give her a piggy ride. Tari walk their way
to the hotel again in the calm night. But he did not notice that Sakura had came back to her
senses and hold him tight.
- I love you, Sakura said in a very low voice. She close her eyes and lean on Tari's steady
back, happily enjoying his care for her.
