Aomine was terrifyingly amazing.
Everyone thought that the first time they met her. They were baffled. A first-year student playing with such grace and skill and power, Akashi didn’t even care when he knew that everyone noticed he wasn’t blinking throughout the play. This student was their gate.
A very talented boy, they thought. A tall, talented boy with dark skin, too dark blue eyes and hair it looked almost raven in their eyes. Until the boy panted and sweat and laughed and then he was a she. Clung to her body was her sweat drenched shirt and now the curves were unmistakable. They did think if she laughed sooner, they’d know sooner because her laugh was nothing like her intimidating prowess. They didn’t say so with her smirk, though.
When Akashi decided that she was the ace, no one complained how they’ve just lost a throne in the first-string against a girl. Because Akashi had said so, and they knew that Aomine was a monster—more than what they thought—the third time she played against her seniors. Akashi had chosen the right gate.
“What are you doing?”
When Akashi asked her one day he caught Aomine standing in front of a mirror with scissors held between her fingers, it wasn’t really a question. The girl shrugged.
“What else do it look like?” she asked back. “I’m cutting my fringes.”
It happened so fast, so fast even her reflexes couldn’t catch up when Akashi took it from her and slipped it into his pants pocket. The next day, he gave her a small box full of hair clips.
“A little more and you won’t be alone. You only need to play.” He said. Later at practice, he found the hair clips were scattered everywhere yet he paid no attention because one clip was missing and that was enough.

The gate was opening, allowing passage for more monsters to come in. Midorima and Murasakibara were the first ones, passing all the barriers effortlessly and claimed their waiting seats. It wasn’t enough for a team like how Akashi wanted, however.
It probably wouldn’t worry him so much, because he knew she would make Teikou to know only victory, if it wasn’t for his promise. And he didn’t know why it was a promise and why it bugged him like nothing else, pushing out every other thought from his head. The next moment, though, he knew it was Aomine.
“I don’t need your promises.”
Aomine said when she saw his lingered stare on her, Murasakibara, and Midorima. But Akashi only passed him the ball and let Aomine dunk it to yet another victory against the second-string, her long fringes clipped to her side.
It has original story and random stories. Sometimes I'll write the random, the other times I'll pick up where I left on the original story and continue it. It's just... random. Yes, I know. /headbang
