"Nayomi?"
Nayomi couldn't help but take a peek at him. And then again. He had her heart, he had her whole life too.
"Sorry Saya I have to go, I have class" Nayomi didn't wait for a reply and disconnected the call.
She had made it her aim in life to know more about him. And know more about him she did. She came closer, and closer to him. She learned Japanese, wrote Japanese and read Japanese. For him.
He had come to continue his mission, that is, to teach Japanese. He came. He came to her, well, not her exactly, but he came, to teach in a university. To America. Texas. And with a little help from her sister, her natural acting skills and no help at all from her mother she convinced her dad to move them to a small, three roomed apartment near her aunts house in Texas. There she watched his videos on YouTube until she mustered up enough courage to go with her sister to the far side of Texas in a small, yellow cab. She went to him, further away from the apartment and closer to him.
Nayomi's sister had freaked out when they reached their destination; the university.
"Nayomi! what if someone sees us?!" Her sister had said.
"Misaki, no one knows us" Nayomi had replied in a monotone voice while she had hoped her sister would just shut up already.
"What if mom wakes up?"
"Shut up!" Nayomi had snapped at her sister.
And then she had seen him. standing with a green file, smiling at no one in particular. Her sister had tugged at her sleeve, urging her to go to him. Misaki was, like her sister, head-over-heels for him. But she had known, that to Nayomi, he was someone special. Nayomi had met him for the first time then. She had been shy and nervous.
Nayomi's sister had accidentaly on purpose pushed her a little, causing Nayomi to bump into him. He was surprised and he dropped his file, resulting in severel papers flying out and landing here and there. That was how she had met him; flustered sorries were said, flushed cheeks were hid and rusteling of papers could be heard. Misaki had taken great joy in watching the scene unfold.
However, she was a bit sad. He was her Nayomi's. Yet, she had fallen in love with him, knowing that she had to suffer great pains later on.

Nayomi kept glancing at him as he walked across the University campus with a spring in his step. She was trying to read the same page again and again, but her head kept bobbing up to see where he was going and what he was doing. She had applied for this University because seeing him on screen wasn't when she had the chance to see him live.
And of course she had signed up for his class. Misaki had gotten into the University one year later. Nayomi sighed, she wasn't going to get any studying done if she kept looking at him every now and then from where she sat on the bench. She needed to be somewhere quite. Nayomi stood up and headed for the libarary, but, not before throwing one last glance at the handsome professor.
While she was on her way there, she bumped into Misaki, who ignored her as usual. Misaki had started acting like a stranger towards her ever since she joined the University. Nayomi didn't understand her sister's behaviour at all. She had tried talking to Misaki but she had been unsuccesful in discovering what the promblem was. Their conversations had always ended in harsh words like 'fuck off' or 'screw you', mostly these words came from Misaki.

If there was one thing that annoyed Reika, it was when she didn't get attention. And right now, Reika wasn't getting any from Nayomi or Ayaka. Both of them were busy studying for this test or that. Azuki also wasn't there to notice her, for she was on break from life and had travelled to South Korea to live her dream of becoming a docter in one of the hospitals there. Reika disliked that cute proffesor who looked like a mixture of Byun Baekhyun and Jung Yong Hwa, he always took all the attention from everyone.
Even stoic and serious Nayomi had taken an interest in him. This bothered her too much, and she felt left out.
Misaki couldn't understand why she felt envious towards her sister, she felt a strong hatered beginnig to develope between herself and her sister. The proffesor, it seems, had a huge part in this.
"...and this is all going to come in the test. Thank you, and don't forget the upcoming project, please prepare for that " the teacher said as she collected her books and papers from the table and exited the classroom. Misaki hadn't paid attention at all and she couldn't care less. She was a bad mood because she had run into Nayomi earlier when she was rushing to her class.
Next class was, much to her joy, Japanese writing and grammer. Misaki was however discouraged when she saw Nayomi again. Of course Nayomi was snubed by Misaki once more.
Atsuhiro Nishikata was someone who was easy to talk to, and so, all the female teachers made him their therapist. They would go on and on about how their lives weren't how they expected it to be, or that some foul guy was cheating on them. Nonetheless, they were comforted and consoled by him time and time again. He never thought of it in a negative way, that the others were using him. He was a humble man, only seeking good for others. Nayomi was oblivious to anything excluding him. And so, with Nayomi in the row at the back, and with Misaki up front, the class started.
"Good afternoon guys" was the casual greeting initiated by him. A few squeaks here and there could be heard, but of course none of the belonged to Nayomi or Misaki.
"Did everyone read page thirty-two?"
"Yes!" The class said in unsion.
"Good, we will have a quiz, okay?" After he said that, the class moaned disapprovingly. "It's going to be easy, okay? I'm sure you'll do well"
More excited squeaks. The class did the quiz and the bell rang.
