Blood 1.0: No Escape

She sits in a black limousine that drove on a silent townside road. The sun shone the evening light. From afar was situated a huge mansion, seemingly quiet and peaceful. Yui winded down the window to have a better view at the mansion that was slightly surrounded with a village forest. The breeze of the wind was very soothing on her face, it brushed on her face so gently like cotton.

Not long later, Yui arrieved at the mansion that she saw from awhile ago. The sizw of the mansion was unbelievable, it was so much more bigger than she imagined, so much more bigger than what she saw during her car ride. The driver helped Yui to take down her luggage. As she walks towards the tall mansion gate ahead, the driver drove away. Yui helped herslef to open the gate and cautiously walked into the compound of the huge mansion. She looked in amazement, as she had never seen a house that big! There was even a fountain in the middle!

As this blonde haired girl reached the fountain which had a huge bat statue above, the skies began to turn dark and gloomy; without even realising it, water droplets started falling from the skies.

"It's raining..." Yui looked up at the dark couldy skies. A flash of lightning ignited and a loud rumble of thunder followed up immediately. Yui was frightened by that sudden sound and flash that she yelped and ran quickly to the main entrance of the mansion where there was a roof above to cover her. Her hand still placed on her chest as she was still rather frightened. She turned around and knocked hard on the door, twice, "Hello," and waited for a response but there was none of any sort.

She reached out for the door knob but the door opened on its own and it slightly shocked her.

She walk into the house slowly, "Hello! Anybody home?...Maybe they weren't informed of my arrival," she was beginning to worry.

She, while having her luggage by her side, walked into the house. The path ahead was brightly lit with a beautiful chandelier, very clean and sparkly. At the end of the straight walkway was a flight of stairs going up and spliting into two opposite directions. She cautiously walk along the entrance hall and stopped at the bottom of the staircase. She looked at the staircase for a moment and turned to look at her left and her right. Both sides had a corridor and she was confused on where to go.

Lightning continued to flash and thunder continued to rumble.

Just then, a small room at the corner caught her attention and she saw someone sleeping on a sofa in there. She was relieved to finally be able to find someone in this place. She quickly walked over there, into the room. As she approached that sleeping person, she lowered her pace. It was a teenage boy with spiky and short hair, colour contrasting from bright red to reddish-white. His outfit consist of a school uniform; his shirt was only buttoned at the last two buttons, he had a tie tied in the most hilarious way and the right side of his pants was folded up to his knee.

She bent down to the boy and gently placed her hand on his, wanting to wake him up, "Um..excuse me-!" But it shocked her when his hands were as cold as ice and she quickly retract her hand from his.

"His hand is so cold," she moved forward over his chest to hear for his heartbeat. "He has no pulse! This is bad! I'll call for an ambulance!"

She reached out to her handbag and took out her cellphone. She immediately dialed the emergency number. As she was dialing, a hand grabbed her cellphone and took it away from her. The boy the Yui thought to be dead sat up on the couch.

He opened his eyes, they were glowing green and had slit iris, giving her a cold hard glare. "Damn, you're so noisy," he said, irritated.

Yui was shocked, "You're..alive.."

"Huh? Of course I am alive. What do you think Ore-sama is?" The boy was pretty pissed.

"But your heart had stopped..." Yui began to back up slowly and as she wanted to turn and make a run for, the boy's strong arm's strength had pulled her by the waist and forcefully laid her down on the sofa.

"W-What are you doing?" She asked, scared.

"Oh, you know what I'm going to do. Ore-sama's going to take you," the boy smirked. He leaned over Yui with one hand beside her head and the other hand pressing on her chest. He licked her neck, she struggled but her strength was no match at all with the boy's. He opened his mouth that portrayed his sharp fangs, wanting to bite into her neck. A voice then interrupted the moment.

"Ayato, what do you think you're doing?"

"Tch. It is you, Reiji," the boy who was called as Ayato was pissed when he was interrupted.

This person addressed as Reiji was more of a young adult. He had purple hair and wore a pair of spectacles. He was dressed very formally, almost too formal for a set of school uniform. "This is the entrance hall and it's meant as a place for us to greet guests, so please  please take your activities up to your private room," Reiji added.

Ayato sat up on the sofa which gave Yui an opportunity to make an escape. "Please help me," she ran towards Reiji.

Reiji shot her a death stare from the side of his eye, "Who are you?" His voice was so cold and stern that it send chills up her spine.

Nevertheless, she answered boldly, "I'm Komori Yui. My father said that I was suppose to come her and stay."

"Oh? I have not been informed of such a thing," Reiji turned to look at her and then at Ayato. "Ayato, please explain this matter."

"Huh? How would I know?" Ayato turned to face Yui, "Oi, Chichinashi, you didn't tell me anything," he demanded.

"That's because you attacked me before I could say anything..." Ayato turned his fave away. "Wait...did you just called me 'chichinashi'?" Yui felt herself blush.

"Yeah I was calling you, stupid, 'cause ya're as flat as a chichinashi(pancake), chi-chi-na-shi," Ayato's mouth curled at one end but it wasn't a smile, more like pouting. In an instant, Yui's face became redder.

"This is peculiar. I was not informed of this matter. But, anyhow, let's not talk here. Please follow me this way. Do see to her luggage," Reiji turned around and walked towards the exit of the room.

"Eh? What?" Yui got shocked when suddenly a butler-like elderly man appeared out of nowhere and pulled her luggage into the darkened corridor. She turned to give Ayato a puzzled look before hastening to follow after Reiji.

In the living room...

"Now, in the interest of formality, let us begin by having you telling introduce yourself and how you came to enter this house," Reiji started.

"Um..right..I..."

"Well, well, well...  What have we here? Is it true? Is there really a cute human girl here?~*" up at the first level of the house, stood a boy also in the same unform as the other two boys she met. Except he wore a red hoodie with furry edged a black tie and a fedora that was over his wavey red-orange hair. His voice hinted a very perverted sense in them.

"Wh-What?" Yui was slightly startled by it. But that didnt matter when suddenly a cold tougue licked her left cheek. "Mmm~ You're so sweet!~*" the same voice from before ringged in her ear. In shock and following her reflexes, she quickly moved to the opposite side only to be licked by another, this time behind her ear.

"Indeed she is very sweet," a different voice spoke this time. Yui turned around to find a boy, seemingly about the same age as her, had lilac hair and also the same uniform, only his coat hung over the right side of his shoulder. He hugged an oddly looking but cute bear toy.

"Both of you, don't you think that it's rude to treat a lady that way when you just met her?" The boy in the glasses finally spoke again.

"Well, who can resists not having a taste of something like this, ne Kanato-kun" the boy with the fedora diagreed.  

"Let me taste you again, ne?" The lilac haired boy said with a creepy tone in his voice, giving Yui goosebumps.

"Oi! The both of you, back off! Chichinashi belongs to Ore-sama and only Ore-sama will have everything of her!" Ayato yelled at the two boys that had licked the pink-eyed girl.

"How annoying. 'Ore-sama, Ore-sama'! Just who do you think you are!? It gets on my nerves when you say that!" a deep voice came about out of blue, mocking Ayato.

"Huh? It's you, Subaru, isn't it! Come out and show yourself," the hot-headed, red-haired boy said in annoyance and frustration after being mocked by that voice. It was even more annoying when he couldn't even fugure out where the voice was coming from.

"I'm right here," the boy behind the voice appeared and said calmly. "I smelt a very strong scent that came into the house," he added. "You? You're the one with that human scent? How dare you interrupt my precious sleep!" His eyes stared down at Yui, obviously unhappy of her appearance. This boy had a full head of white hair, the fringe falling in front of his face, covering the right side of his face. He also wore a uniform but...why was his white shirt torn at the bottom edges, and he wore a black rugged v-neck t-shirt with a string hanging a gold key around his neck.

"Wh-Where did you come from?" Yui asked, frowning at the boy that just appeared.

"Answer my question first!!" The  white-haired boy, called as Subaru by Ayato, had definitely lost his patience as he literally punched a hole in the wall next to him. Yui was startled by this action.

"Anyone mind telling me what's the meaning of this and who this girl is?" Reiji, having his hand up his chin, spoke in a more demanding tone this time, clearly getting very annoyed with what the other boys are doing instead of being serious with the matter at hand, Yui sudden arrival to their household. However, it was silent throughout the hall, then.

Yui stood up from her seat, "Excuse me. This must be some kind of mistake. I shall be leaving now." She walked to the back of Ayato's seat, intended to walk towards he exit.

"I'm trying to verify the matter at hand. Wouldn't it be impolite to leave at this time?" the biy wearing the glasses shot that sentence to Yui, causing her to turn around feeling rather uneasy.

"B-But, I..."

"Are you the woman he mention about the other day?" a voice asked, most probably asking the school girl as he mention 'woman'. This voice was not coming from any of the boys that she saw just now. This voice sounded much more lazy and laid back. The girl looked around to see who it was when a lying figure caught her attention. It was a boy in a school sweater and a coat just drapped over him. Though he was lying down on the couch, with his left hand supporting his head, it didnt seemed like it was drapping over him, it seemed more like it was just lying behind him. He had light golden blonde, wavey short hair and he had earplugs stuck in his ear.

"Shu, you know who this girl is?" Ayato asked, sounded more like he demanded for an answer.

"Maybe..." the boy replied lazily.

"Don't 'maybe' me. I want to hear an explanation of this," the voice of the lilac-haired boy was so creepy and demanding all at the same time.

"That guy...called the other day. Saying that there will be a guest coming from the church. He told that to treat her with respect," Shu replied lazily and from the tone it will make someone wonder whether he finds even talking so much trouble and difficult to carry out. Was he that lazy???

"Oh?~ So this is the new sacrificial bride, eh?~" the fedora-wearing boy said with a smirk.

"And he also said not to kill her," the golden-blonde haired boy added.

"Heh?~ I guess we're going to have a verrrry long relationship with Bitch-chan~" the boy with the fedora had to add that comment, enough to freeze Yui's movement momentarily.

"So, things finally make sense. Well then, let me introduce ourselves." Reiji adjusted his glasses and turned to face Yui.

"He is the eldest son, Shu," pointing to the boy with golden-blonde hair. "I'm the second eldest son, Reiji," pointing to himself. "He is the third son, Ayato," to the boy with red-orange hair, and that boy's smirked got wider. "Kanato," to the lilac-haired boy, and he gave a very eerie smile. "Laito," to the boy wearing the fedora. "And he's the youngest son, Subaru," to the white-haired boy.

"Tch, what a trouble," Subaru said in annoyance and gave Yui an irritated stare.

"Seemingly there is no mistake, then?" Reiji questioned, but actually he meant it to 'help' Yui reassure herself.

"No...this can't be. This must be some kind of mistake. No one told me anything about brides," Yui held her hand up to her chest, trying ti comfort herself most probably. What's with this human actions anyway? They don't even make sense, and that's no wonder why they're so naive! "And besides...all of you...seem weird..." Yui added carefully. Her eyes scanned the brother, as she was informed, that were around the room, getting scared even more by the minute. She backed up, little by little, "I have to call father..." the girl tried to search for her phone in her pocket but it was no where to be found. The sound of a clampshell phone opening came about, Yui turned her head to face Ayato. He had her phone in his hand, "You were looking for this?" He smirked as he held up her cellphone in his hand.

"Please give it back to me!" Yui walked forward to Ayato and reached put her hand towards her phone. Even seated, Ayato was still taller than Yui, being easily able to hold ip the phone from out of her reach. "Please return my cellphone!" Just then, a strong force had  snatched the cellphone from Ayato.
