A friend Always Want the best for you

After 2 years, it was the year of the graduation of yume, chiaki and michiko.

Yume: ah the graduation is finally coming up soon.

Michiko: I wish we don't graduate.

Chiaki: I Agree with you, I don't want to separate from you guys.

(she lowered her head).

Yume: yah!! What are you saying? who said that we'll separate ? we're still gonna be friends it's just that we'll be going to different universities… While she was speaking, luhan suddenly get in the class. Ever since he broke up with yume until now he has been different and always sad. Of course a lot of girls took the opportunity and confessed to him, but he still has feelings for yume.

Chiaki broke the silence after luhan getting in and said: so… say yume! Which university are you going in?

Yume: me? Ah… I'm not sure yet, but I'll be attending the han university of literature and I think that I'll be choosing the languages to study.

As luhan heard that his eyes get widened because he was planning to attend the same one.

Chiaki: cool! Then what about you michiko?

Michiko: I didn't think about it yet…

Chiaki: ok, I'm planning to go study overseas as my father told me.

Michiko and Yume together: eeeeh??

Chiaki: sorry guys, and also I'm doing this to be able to forget about him.

Yume: why? U didn't get over him yet?

Chiaki: why? did u get over luhan?

Chiaki didn't pay attention to what she said and forgot that luhan was already there.

Michiko: chiaki…

Chiaki realized what she said and said: I'm sorry yume, I didn't…

And at that moment, Luhan stood up and headed off. The girls noticed him.

Michiko: Can't u just pay attention to what you get out of that mouth?

Chiaki felt sorry about that and said with a changed face: sorry!

      Yume: it's okay,

The next day…

At Yume's house, the three decided to meet up to study.

Chiaki: Michiko, I couldn't understand this math problem, could you help me out?

Michiko: "ok, ah…" while helping her michiko remembered something

Michiko: aah how did I forget that?!

Chiaki: what is it?

Michiko: kai… he asked me to tell you to meet him today at 8:00 he didn't tell me the place.

Chiaki: I already know where, but… why would he want to meet me?

Yume looked at the watch and said: it's already 7:00 if you wanna see him, you should at least brush that hair and your teeth cuz you smell badly.

Chiaki: ya!!

Yume: there's no time to fight, go do what I told you and I'll choose you a nice dress (she winked)

Michiko: I'll help you too.

Chiaki smiled widely as she saw their passion as if they are more happy than she is now and thought: right now, if only time stopped now and I remain at this place, it's fine to me, cuz as long as I have you two, I'm already happy,

Yume: ur still there? Hurry hurry.

      As she dragged chiaki to the washroom.

When chiaki was already ready, she thanked them and headed out.

As she arrived she found him already there, her heart started beating so fast, she approached him carefully and said softly: annyeonghasseo.

Kai: oh! Chiaki! It's been a long time right?

Chiaki: mmm, but why did you ask to meet up?

Kai: not this fast,

He held her hand and start walking.

They walked like that for awhile until chiaki stopped and took off her hand from kai. Kai stopped as well and looked at her confusely:" why…"

Chiaki: I'm sorry oppa! But… I don't want to live in a lie, even if it hurts I still prefer living my life in the right way, so…"

She bowed to him and willed to go until he yelled:" but, shouldn't you first understand other people feeling, and also last time you didn't even let me finish my talk, you don't even know how much I suffered because of that."

She turned to him with  tearful eyes and said: "this might be your last chance to finish your talk, so…

Kai interrupted her and said: I know that you are stronger than me and that you did a lot to confess to me, but I'm human too, if you suddenly asked me out, didn't you think about how my reaction would be like? Or… did you expect me to just say (yes), before today I didn't know how special you were to me. And, I'm sorry for hurting you so much.

Though chiaki was shedding tears yet happiness was shining in her eyes, she was smiling widely after hearing what he said. She approached him slowly and hugged him.

After that, chiaki's phone rang. She let go of kai and saw a message from michiko.

Sent 8:30pm: congratulation, right now I feel like crying.

Chiaki was surprised at the message and sent back.

Sent 8:31pm: why? Where are you?

Sent 8:31pm: look around.

Kai: who's it? Chiaki: it's michiko, she…

While she was looking around, she suddenly saw Michiko and Yume waving to her, she was shocked how she didn't notice while they were following her all the time.

Yume and Michiko went to them.

Yume: ah finally, but Kai, I didn't know that you're a poet.

Kai: eh?! (shyly)

Yume: Long time no see. (laughing)

Michiko: I almost  hated you for making our chiaki upset.

Chiaki: hey! Don't think that you'll escape from what you did by saying gentle words!

Yume: why? What did we do?

Chiaki yelled: HOW CAN YOU SPY ON US?!!

Kai was shocked at how angry chiaki was.

Michiko: whoa! Whoa! Look who's speaking.

Chiaki looked at michiko with a killer look: you're dead!!!

Michiko: then catch me!

Michiko started running and chiaki follows her.

Yume to kai: she's a special person to us so please take care of her (she smiled to kai)

Kai nooded: sure!! And smiled back. 

a t  s c h o o l:

Chiaki to Yume: Yume! yume!! yume! 

Chiaki suddenly came running to yume who was sitting with michiko, she was out of breath. 

Yume: ya! what happened?

Chiaki: Luhan...He... 

Michiko: What's with Luhan?

Chiaki: Right now, a girl from...ah! a sunbae! she studies in the university!

Yume: so?

Chiaki: SHE CONFESSED TO HIM RIGHT NOW!!!

Michiko: what????

Chiaki: yes, she even came personally to the school.

Yume: so?...(she didn't seem to care) but of course she was burning inside.

Chiaki:"ehh?'' Michiko: "Yume! don't act strong"

Chiaki: come Michiko, she really seem out of her mind right now, let's go see what is luhan up to." Chiaki said to michiko as they left the class.

Luhan was surrounded by so many people.

Luhan to the girl: well...I...

Michiko interrupted him and went directly and said:HAJIMA!! (don't do it)

Luhan looked at her confusely. Chiaki and the others had the same expression. Michiko dragged luhan to someplace.

Michiko:I...Listen Luhan, We both know that you still love yume, and she thinks the same way so...

Luhan: if you came to say this, I'm taking my way.

Michiko: no!!! I have more to say.

Luhan: what is it?

Michiko: You know... the reason Yume dumped you was...

Luhan: I have a class right now.

he was willing to go until Michiko stopped him:I was the reason, and I'm sorry! I  couldn't tell you this before.

Luhan:and why would you be the reason.

Michiko: the truth is... When yume knew that I loved you, she...

Luhan turned to face her: what?

Michiko: yes, she felt so bad and had to do that. Even though she hated that too much, I know that I can't change your mind right now but at least I wished you could hear me.

luhan remembered when he broke up with yume she said:

Yume : I today will lose an important and special person, but I'll be able to save another relationship, I really don't know if what I'm doing is right or not but this is what my heart heads me to.

Luhan: I don't get to what you want to say!

Yume: one day you'll realize, because maybe you'll be in the same position as me, at that time you'll understand me clearly.

luhan"so that's the reason...

At that time they heard chiaki screaming.

 

After luhan and michiko heard the screams. Michiko said:it's chiaki! It's her voice I'm sure.

She was too shocked, luhan started running and she followed.

They followed the voice, just until they saw a bunch of people standing in front of the class and  smoke was getting out of it. Chiaki was crying while waking up Yume who was laying in the ground out of consciousness. They ran toward her.

Luhan: what happened?

Chiaki was too shocked to speak.

Luhan yelled while shaking chiaki's shoulders: Speak up!! What happened to her.

Suddenly the girl whom asked luhan out came out behind michiko who was standing, she smirked.

Michiko felt suspicious about her and though it can't be.

When michiko suddenly looked again, the girl disappeared.

               Luhan held Yume and quickly went outside the school, chiaki followed him, but Michiko didn't.

    

At the hospital:

Yume's parents and one of her teacher came and was with the police looking for the reason of the fire. Chiaki's eyes were swollen while luhan was so worried, laying his head in the window.

Chiaki finally noticed that michiko wasn't there and said: ah! that's right, why isn't Michiko here?

but luhan was in a whole other world. Chiaki yelled back: "luhan??" luhan replied:"sorry, what is it?"

chiaki: "Michiko isn"t here" "weird, she was with us though" luhan answered.

Chiaki: "wait, I'll call her" Chiaki then called her, it rang but no one picks up.

Chiaki to luhan: "she doesn't pick up!" "well maybe the battery is off" luhan said.

Chiaki tried calling again just until michiko picked up.

"chiaki...right now I..." her voice was strange. just until chiaki heard some noise and then a girl spoke:"what're u doing?"

chiaki: hello? michiko what happened hello???"

Luhan quickly took the phone from chiaki and started listening, the girl voice seemed similar to him, just until she hang up he was trying to remember just until he said:"yes, that's her..."

Chiaki with a weary face: "what's it? what happened to mishiko" then a tear dropped in her cheeks. Luhan patted her shoulders and said: "don"t worry she'll be okay!" and then left.

 

Luh an POV :

where would she be right now? Aish! how can that girl do it?" I said to myself as I reached the school. Just until a water dropped in my face, I thought it was rain but when I raised my head, I saw the back of a girl in the top of the school, I focused on it and realised that she was similar to michiko. I ran to the top, it was tiring but I continued and besides the elevator wasn't working. When I reached the top I was breathing hardly. I slowly opened the door and found michiko thrown in the ground she seemed too tired. I noticed three girls standing before her leading with the same girl that asked me out. I slowly approached michiko not wanting to cause any problems with those crazy girls. Michiko slowly opened her eyes and said: "luhan?"

"don't worry, I'm here, get on" I said as I kneeled in front of her.

Michiko: "what? it's okay I can walk" "get on!!" I said with a high pitch. she did just like I said, I stood up and glared to the girl and walked off. The girl whom I don't even know her name said: "wait..." I stopped not even turning to face her. She continued: "why didn't you say anything?" me: "about what?" she said: "well... you know..." me: "listen I really don't have time, I need to go back to the hospital, she's waiting for me."

she replied: "she...why do you always care about her, she already left you two years ago. I at least love you honestly and can't leave you"

I said: "well, I would rather stay single forever than dating someone who doesn't even have a single feeling of guiltiness, and besides if you ever loved me you wouldn't have hurted me, I know someone whom cared about her friend's happiness that she accepted herself getting in pain and her friend did the same thing, she gave up on her love just for her... I hope that will touch your empty heart. I'll be going now" 

the girl then fell in her knees and I left.

Mi c hi ko  POV :

I felt so relieved as I heard what luhan said "well..." both me and luhan said at the same time.

We laughed and I said: "you go first."

Luhan: "She was the reason of the fire wasn't she?"

I said: "Yes, it seems so." luhan: "but how did you know?"

I replied: "She was acting strange, I followed her as I heard her speaking to the other girls, it's a long story though" I was too tired to speak.

Luh an POV :

 "I see... I'm glad you're okay, chiaki was so worried about you, you know" I was waiting for an answer, but she didn't say anything, I looked at her and noticed she was sleeping I smiled and said: today was a though day to you guys..."(meaning chiaki, michiko and yume)

since I didn't know her house I decided to just take her to the hospital. When I reached yume's room I saw chiaki, as she noticed us she came running asking:what happened? why isn't she opening her eyes"

I whispered: shh, she's sleeping you'll wake her up" I slowly put her down and laid her in the couch. then asked chiaki: how about yume? did she woke up?

chiaki smiled: yes, but right now she's sleeping.

I said: can I see her? chiaki: yes, but don't take too long, she needs to rest.

I nodded and quickly get in. I felt bad when I saw her like that, I slowly took some steps afraid she woke up, I sitted in the chair besides her and stared at her:"I'm sorry I didn't protect you, and sorry I didn't understand you when you had to leave, I really am a big fool, I know that but I would like you to forgive me" I said that and stood up willing to go just until she held my hand and said: Stay...please.

I was surprised she really heard me then. I held her hand tighter and sitted back. We spent the whole night that way and I fell asleep.

 Two weeks later, luhan and yume went back together and the same for chiaki and michiko...

At the phone. Chiaki to michiko: what???? ur dating kenji no way!! 

michiko: shh you'll wake my sis up!!

chiaki:sorry! but you're sure? the kenji kenji?! why would he ask you out? (note:kenji means intelligent)

 

michiko: pardon me?! 

Chiaki: I mean you're... (trying to solve what she said)

chiaki: ah forget it! Congrats! I hope the happiness for you,... ah! did you decided which university to attend?

michiko: yes, I'll be attending Kaist university (Department of Mathematics)

Chaiki: I knew it, the kenji kenji surely will attend it too.

Michiko: would you please stop calling him that!

Chiaki:ooh! someone seems angry...

michiko:aish!! ok ok I'll go sleep now goodnight.

Chiaki: you told yume?

Michiko:yes, she was in a date with luhan so I just passed her a messgae.

Chiaki: ah I see.

A u t h o r ' s N o t e : Kenji is the smartest boy in the school and since his name is kenji, he has the nickname of kenji kenji, he is known that even once he didn't talk to a girl and after he asked michiko out, it was a big surprise and also michiko had cruch  on him before luhan.

Yum e POV :

the day after it was the graduation day. Everyone was exieted especially me, I was happy that I graduated and I'm going to the same university as luhan too, but wait... It's not only me michiko as well felt the same, I was happier for her to finally be happy and has a boyfriend, when Chiaki had to say goodbye to kai who's going to study abroad so you can say she wasn't happy, or she was the saddest.

"well...it's finally it..." Michiko said while coming with kenji towards me and luhan.

I replied: "yes, it would be so sad to leave the school, but we had a lot of memories here right chiaki... chiaki?" I turned back suddenly when I found chiaki crying:"noooo"

We laughed hardly at her and she was so angry and said: "is it funny"

Michiko:sorry but it really is" and continued laughing.

it seems like kai already left after greeting us. I really feel bad for chiaki.

The school bell rang, and it was the end of the graduation we took a picture together as a souvenir , with chiaki's tears. And michiko awkwardness with kenji.

And at last we throw our caps in the air and wished for a bright future...together.
