Description
It hit him again; the dizziness, the nausea and the pain. He doubled over slightly gasping and gripped the table, fist balled tightly and knuckles white. He squeezed his eyes shut and bit his lip in a futile attempt to distract himself from what was about to hit him. He willed himself not to remember, but it came anyway. It always did.
The memories that he wanted to bury away in his heart, never to remember again. They came tumbling out, invading his mind and numbing his senses.
“S-stop,” he mumbled, slightly trembling. “Sherlock… I miss you so much, why did you leave me? I hate feeling like this, feeling like there’s a hole in my heart. What do I do Sherlock? What do I do without you…”
He crawled over to the bed and collapsed tired on it, willing for the nightmares of Sherlock’s death to go away so he could fall into a peaceful slumber, but he knew that once they started it would last the rest of the night, but he still hoped.
“Don’t leave me alone Sherlock. Don’t leave me…” he whimpered as the sleepiness pulled him into a lumber of nightmares. His eyebrows furrowed and knitted, mumbling his lover’s name into the pillow and tears that streamed shamelessly onto the bed as he fell asleep, exhausted and empty.
