An Apple's Life

Apple was in his bowl having a wonderful conversation with Orange, when there was a sudden loud noise. A 'human' as they called themselves, this one by the name of Kevin (A/N Yay, I fit in a kpop person ^^), reached out their plump pink fingers and took ahold of Orange. He tried his hardest to wriggle free, but Kevin was holding on too tight.

"Help! Apple, help me!" Orange screamed. Apple tried his hardest to go after Orange, but he couldn't roll out of the bowl. Apple watched as Orange was laid down on a plastic board, and a knife was raised above him. Apple couldn't watch. He winced as he heard a blood curdling scream from Orange, then nothing. Kevin had cut through his heart, the one part that kept a fruit alive. With that, they could live with even a tenth of their original form. Without it, they would die.

Days went by and Apple was alone. He had nearly hit depression when he heard a voice.

"Hey there. I'm asuming you're Apple? I'm Banana, nice to meet you." Hours went by, and Apple became good friends with Banana. He showed him around the kitchen, introduced him to his neighours Salt, Pepper and Paprica. But of course it didn't last. Kevin returned, and he was hungry for a Banana. Snatching up screaming Banana, he walked into another room. Apple was once again alone.

He was trying to figure out how to commit suicide without being able to move when Kevin returned with a black bag. He picked Apple up, but no scream could be heard. Apple just lay there, motionless. He let Kevin put him in his bag and carry him away. He was about to go to sleep when he felt a nudge. Looking up, he saw Banana.

"Dude~ You're here now too! How long's it been, 1 day, 2..."

"2." Apple replied. He rolled himself forward so he was right next to Banana, like a fruit hug, and went to sleep.

He was awoken by a warm feeling. Slowly opening his eyes, he winced at the sudden bright light. He was outside of the bag in Kevin's hand, being tossed up and down. Slowly, Kevin took a big bite out of Apple, but there was no sound. Apple felt no pain anymore, but he did realise something.

He was still alive.

Kevin must have missed his heart, because at the moment he was being slooshed around inside Kevin's mouth. It was absolutely disgusting, but he was still alive and that's all that mattered. He was swallowed, and sent down a long, narrow tube. Down and down, until he came out in a round, red, acidic area. Apple didn't want to sit there. He was looking for a way out when there was a sudden churning noise, and he was sent down another tube. This one twisted and turned, going very slowly. He hit the bottom and was squished up with some... stuff. It was pitch black, so he couldn't see, but  boy did it smell.

Hours passed and Apple finaly saw the light. He gratefully squished out and landed with a splash in a bigger bowl of water. Looking down, he noticed he was a disgusting shade of brown.

Suddenly, the water started spinning, faster and faster, pulling Apple down deeper. He twisted and turned at a sickening pace, and came gliding out in a dark brown room. There was nothing. Until he heard...

"Apple! Is that you? Come over here!" It was that familiar voice from long ago. Apple glided faster and faster, until he came face to face with the remains of Orange.

"I thought he  killed you!"

"Nah, I just passed out from shock, but I'm alright. He missed my heart. You too?"

"Yep"

Orange then turned to look at his, err, other end (He was also brown, yuck) and pointed to a reddish blob.

"Apple, meet Cherry. She's very cute, only young." And so the three fruits happily lived down in the dark room. And eventually Banana joined them!
