Shatter glass everywhere. Photo frames thrown onto the floor. Everything was broken, even us. His fierce scream violates my hearing. Our voices clash against one another, getting louder every second. Ugly, harsh, words attack him. At that moment, you wouldn’t suspect the type of words to come out of my mouth. But him, he was the only one to trigger them. Before I could tell him, he suddenly stops. He became quiet, looking at the ground. His lifted his head, staring straight at me. I look at his eyes, those brown hazel eyes that I once loved. Gone. Only pain was left.

“Janelle, stop this,” His voice was hoarse.

“Why?” I managed to say, though my throat felt like it was on fire.

“Don’t leave,” He begs.

“Harry.” I said.

“No, don’t say anything,” He stepped forward, motioning my right hand towards his. “I can’t survive without you. You know this, you know very well.”

I clench my left hand into a fist. I closed my eyes, remembering the distant memories we both had. “Harry, let me go.”

His eyes widen, shaking his head. “No!”

I pry his hand off of mine. I look away, not wanting to see his face. One glance and I would give in to him, he will hug me and we will make up. But it won’t happen this time.
