Description
Every object has a significant representation.
We can make any item seem as if it holds an importance in society. But every insignificant object means and represents something special to each and every person.
Take me for example. I value ribbon. I’ve always liked ribbon. At first it was because it was pretty but to the coming of age I made it represent love. Silly as it sounds the explanation I made up kinda makes sense. Of course, when first purchased ribbon is displayed in a circular wheel. Society sees circles as wholeness, infinity, a love that will never die. But of course like everything ribbon comes to an end. But let’s not think about ribbon that way.
Everything has a centre point, a half. A circle has a centre, an odd number can be halved, a book will always have a centre page. Just like ribbon, no matter how much you cut or leave, there will always be a centre point, a half.
Ribbon will always have a centre fold. The distance from both ends will always be equal. No matter what you do to the ribbon the fold will always be there and the distance will always be the same. That is how we meet our soul mates. We are both at the ends of the ribbon, an equal distance to the centre. During life we will manoeuvre along the ribbon till we are both met at the centre. Now the centre can represent anything but to me I always saw it as a place. A place that both to-be lovers take for granted. A place that will open our eyes and show us the true meaning to life, love.
