Description
❝Dear Diary ❞
Nakamura Momomi was a quiet girl that loved her best friend, Rei, dearly. They would always do stuff together, whether it be homework, watching movies, playing games, shopping, anything. They were next door neighbors as well, so it made everything easy for the two girls. They were closer than anyone could ever imagine. It was almost as if they were sisters. But when they started high school, Momomi realized that the two girls were drifting apart. They were enrolled in different departments, so they couldn't see each other much. Rei became very popular with everyone, but Momomi stayed in the background. As each day passed by, Momomi began to see Rei as an untouchable figure that she could never get close to. They were almost like strangers. A few occurrences gave Momomi an even harder time in school, but it was fine, she had gotten used to this life. The last winter before her 16th year was when she decided that this was the end. This would be the winter of goobye.

Foreword
In loving memory of Nakamura Momomi
1997 ― 2013
Love was but a figment of my imagination.
I could never really understand the meaning of truly loving someone.
Though I did see what it had done to everyone around me.
For people that were quiet, they grew loud with happiness.
For people that were sad, they lit up with cheer.
For hearts that were broken, they were repaired and healed.
Love seemed to be like some type of magic.
It was something that I couldn not believe, it had so much power.
An emotion that was supernatural and not a part of my world.
I was never able to experience this feeling called love.
My heart was empty, it was ready to take in all of that miraculous emotion.
But that was just the thing, my heart was empty.
It was uncapable of handling such an emotion, so it broke down and stopped working.
Like a robot that was unable of being human, my artificial heart cracked.
