A Proposal
300 words
His knees dropped down in front of her. He took a box out of his pocket. He slowly opened it. The girl burst into tears when she saw the shining ring right in front of her. It had been exactly 5 years since they dated. Today was the day, the day that she was waiting for. She used her hand to cover her mouth as tears continued to drop. The man in front of her smiled and took a deep breathe. He looked up into her eyes. He began, “After 5 years of dating, I finally found someone who I want to be with forever. She is really beautiful, outside and inside. The way she smiles makes my heart beat nonstop. I feel my heart is going to explore every time she smiles. And that person is you, Amy. I love you, babe.” he took another deep breathe to gather his confidence and continued, “Amy, will you be my partner forever? Will you marry me?” He closed his eyes. He looked to the ground, feeling afraid to look into her eyes. He felt hands on his face, lifting his head up. He looked up but his lip was crashed with a familiar lip. It was hers. The kiss soon became hotter and more passionate. Her arms drove to his neck and wrapped around it while his arms drove to her slim waist. He encircled his arms around her waist. The couple parted the kiss due to the lack of oxygen. Their foreheads touched. She smiled, showing her white teeth, “I will marry you.” He couldn’t hold anymore. He smiled brightly and lifted her up. He spun around but stopped after feeling dizzy. The couple looked into each other’s eyes and connected their lips together again. Our love had no limits.
