[Four- I Miss You]

It had been weeks since Minako had properly seen Kent. It was midterm season and everyone had dedicated most of their time to studying, studying, and even more studying. Minako hated it since her Bio Chemistry class was the real pain of the semester but even more so since Kent took his research and time even more seriously. She could only stop by the lab for an hour and Kent would already have his nose stuck in a book, focused. Mianko knew he was listening but she knew he also preferred that he would left alone to study and that's what bothered her the most.  She sighed, this is what happens when you attend a school fit for geniuses.

Minako wanted to be with him more and wanted to tell him to stop studying for the day and go out somewhere fun with her, but she knew she couldn't ask him for that. School was important and Iki had told her she should give even more effort in studying than she already does so that the time would by faster. She banged her head against her textbook. She just wanted midterms to be over already so things could go back the way they normally were.

Kent closed his Advanced Mathematics textbook and sighed. He had been studying for almost a week without outside contact besides the occasional peep at his phone. His classes every semester get more and more difficult but that's what he liked, a mental challenge. But for the past 2 days all his thoughts would trail to Minako. She had been stopping by less and less;probably because of midterms. And he didn't have much time to spare either. He tried his best to be engaging to her when she'd visit since he felt it would both do them good to have some time together before they went back to studying and their study groups. But he guessed he hadn't tried hard enough since Minako hadn't stopped by in a while.

A small pang of longing hit his heart and he walked up to get coffee. He lazily glanced at the time and this would be the moment Minako would be getting out from her last class. He glanced at the textbook that was 2/3 read through and if he continued he'd be finished by tonight. he walked to the closet, grabbed his coat and made way to Minako's class. 

By the time he arrived, like clockwork, Minako class ended and she emerged from the classroom with a large groups of students. Kent studied her face, the same pretty, petite face of hers was worn down with fatigue and from what Kent had deduced a small twinge of sadness. 

"Minako." he called out calmly, although his heart was melting, when her faced had lit into a smile.

Minako embraced him and giggled, "What a surprise! I had been thinking about you."

Kent breathed in her scent, he felt like it had been ages since they had been together this close. Minako did the same nuzzling her face into his chest. Kent leaned his face downward, making a straight but gentle way to Minako's lips,

"Kent-"

And with that they kissed. Their lips melting into each other's effortlessly, Minako thought she was going to faint. She really missed him and it seemed like the same thing was on Kent's mind. When he pulled away, she beamed at him and took his hand,

"I've missed you."

Kent gave a soft smile, a brush of pink dusting his cheeks, "I missed you two."

She took his hand, "Let's go back to my apartment? I'll make something for us."

Her eyes were hopeful, like she didn't want him to leave for a while. But he had to be back sooner or later, or else he wouldn't;t be able to finish the textbook by tonight. He sighed and put an arm around her waist,

"That sounds great."

Minako blinked in surprise, "You've finished studying?"

"No," Kent admitted, "But I want to spend time with you."

She smiled and they began walking back to her place hand in hand. even if he didn't finish by tonight, he'd still be able to finish reading by tomorrow afternoon.

Later that night Kent studied Minako as she slept soundly by his side. He softly smiled, even if school was important to him, he ws glad he didn't pass up the night to be with her.
