Do it now, remember it later

"You do?" he said looking at me wide-eyed.
"Yeah, i-it's Olivia" I said looking down
"N-"
"Alex, it's okay, you don't have to explain, I get it, it's okay" I said, reassuring him
"Natalie, it's no-"
"Natalie Quinn, move immediately" Mr.Payne shouted, cutting off Alex
"But sir, there are no more seats" I said panicking
"Yes there are, go and sit next to Ryan" he said returning to the chalk board
"But si-"
"No, buts. Move now" he warned. I picked up my things and hesitantly walked toward Ryan. I really didn't want to do it. I finally arrived at my new seat. Ryan looked up at me with a smirk. I sat down and took out my book to take notes from the board. I then felt Ryan's hand on my leg.
"Please don't" I whispered and put his hand back on his own.
"Come on Nat! You know you like it!" He whispered in my ear
"No, I don't" I exclaimed back at him. The bell rang. I picked up my things and ran to Alex. 
"Go to Olivia to go to Maths, we all have it together. I'll meet you guys there" He said to me sternley
"O-okay. Don't do anything stupid" I said to him. I walked out of the room and ran to Olivia's English class. I told her everything that happened.
"That fucking pig! If I see him, I'll break his nose in!" She exclaimed
"Already did it" Alex said standing behind me. I turned around and looked at him and then down to his hands. They were bruised and bloody.
"What did you do?" I asked him taking his hands in my hands to investigate them.
"I saw what he did to you Nat. He deserved to pay" He said looking me in the eye
"Thank you" I said and hugged him
"Guys, we better go to Maths we are probably late" Olivia said. We arrived at maths just in time for the bell.

The rest of the day was pretty boring. I had no more classes with Ryan thank the Lord. After school I arrived to my empty house because my parents were on a six-month holiday. I know, it seems a long time but they needed and deserved it. I walked up to my room and went on my laptop. I logged into skype and checked if Liv was online. She was.

Me: Hey Liv! What are you up to?
Her: Nothing much, just doing some homework for English. What about you?
Me: I just got home so I am looking forward to a shower. Do you want to come over for a little while? 
Her: Yeah sure! I just gotta finish this homework and I'll be there :)
Me: Well, I'll see you soon then! Bye :)
Her: Yup, bye :)

I closed my laptop and took my jacket off. I went down stairs to put some cans of drink in the fridge and then went back upstairs to put my phone on charge. Just as I was about to plug it in, Alex called.

"Hello?" I said
"Hey Nat, what are you doing?" He asked a bit to enthusiastically
"Um, just waiting for Olivia to come over" I said chuckling
"Oh, okay. Do you mind if I come over aswell?" He asked
"Yeah, sure why not" I said
"Okay, see you soon. Bye" He said and hung up. I plugged my phone in and put it on my desk. It slipped out of my hand and went down with a thud. I was about to pick it up when the doorbell rang. 
"It's open" I yelled, knowing it was Alex. We came up with a code for eachother so we know who it is when we knock on the door.
 

Alex came upstairs and knocked on my door whilst entering.
"Alex, you do know that entering while knocking defeats the purpose of knocking right?" I asked sitting on my bed.
"Yeah, but it is impolite not to knock" He said, sitting next to me. He started staring at me. I could see out of the corner of my eye.
"What? Is there something on my face?" I asked him while wiping my mouth.
"No, there isn't. I need to tell you something" He said moving closer to me.
"Yeah? What is it?" I asked, curious to know.
"I could show you better than I can tell you, because I probably wouldn't be able to speak I am that nervous to tell you" He said laughing a little.
"Okay? Lay it on me" I said. That's when he leaned forward and pressed his lips against mine.
