~They're what?~

     It had been a few months since they met at the park. She had dyed her hair 5 times since then. Today it was Red. She walked out of her house towards His house.

     He had just finished his session of gaming when she came into his room.

     Oh Hey. I was just gonna go visit you.

     Listen, there's something I have to tell you. She started.

     What do you mean? He was listening intently.

     Well, I have been meaning to tell you this for a while now.

     His eyes opened, his ears became hypersensitive. He didn't want to miss the next part.

     I. I love you.

     He felt like he was going to go crazy. He thought he was going crazy. He was quiet.

     She thought she did something wrong. Oh god, I knew I shouldn't have, She was thinking. What was I thinking, its ridiculous. How can he love me? She ran out of the room in tears. She didn't listen to Him trying to stop her. She didn't stop when His mom asked what was the matter. She just ran straight to the park. When she got there she sat under a tree and cried.

     Her phone rang. It was him. She answered and tried to sound as casual as possible. Ha Ha, what do you think of my joke. I mean, like, I didn't mean to say it but I mean you know I got confused and stuff and I wanted to see if you-

     I love you too. He interrupted.

     They both paused in silence.

     What?

     I love you too.

     What do you mean?

     I mean I love you. I don't mean as in a geeky I love you. I mean I LOVE you.

     Aren't you afraid what everyone would think at school?

     Who cares what they think? I love you.

     I guess we should hold hands next time. I mean, I guess we will be going out?

     She wiped her tears away. Yeah. She smiled.

     They walked through the front door of the school. In unision, hand in hand. Everyone stopped and stared. How could they be going out with each other? They all thought they were pulling their leg. They were friends after all.

     She noted what they were doing and She wanted to let go of his hand. But when She did, He grabbed it back. She looked at him with curiousity. And he told her.
