 Prologue

Her feet slapped across the damp grass. She could hear him blundering through the forest behind her, trying to carry those twisted, ugly feet of his as lightly as possible. Her heart was rising up in her chest, feeling as if it was about to come out of her throat at any second. She wanted to get away, She wanted him to stop.

She didn`t want to play that game anymore.

She could hear him whispering, but couldn`t quite clock where his voice was coming from. It seemed to be all around her, weaving in and out of the trees. It was as if he wasn`t a physical being. No normal creature could move that agilely and quickly. But then, he wasn`t normal was he?

He would never be normal.

He was too far gone.

She fell. Her muddy, brown hair fell across her face so that she couldn`t see him coming.

There was no point in trying to get up. He was too close. She could almost feel him lifting on the ground and leaping towards her. Arms outstretched, aching for a game.

But this was not a game.

"At least" she thought "it will be a quick death"

Hi everyone :) Obviously I can`t technically class this as a chapter because its way too short. However, i`m going to try to write up a proper first chapter as soon as I can so you won`t be waiting too long :) This prologue was just to give you an idea of the way I write and my style of writing. I really hope you guys enjoyed it :)
