Chapter one

A single thought as the blond looked at the pink-haired boy, he seemed different. Over the course of the year after the games, her bond with the fire-dragon slayer had grown. He seemed so nervous and she could feel her heart start to race. The look in those eyes was hypnotizing. "Lucy." came the dragon-slayers voice, "I'm glad you met me here tonight." 
"Natsu." she spoke softly, holding her left hand over her heart feeling self-conscious in her black ruffled low neck tank and short skirt.  
The dragon slayer gently took hold of her hand. "I want to ask you something important." Her cheeks flushed with heat. "I really care about you and I want you more then I have ever wanted anyone in this world." The girls expression changed to one of shock.
"Please be my girlfriend!" He said with that big smile of his that made her melt every time she saw it. 
Silently she looked at him still in shock that he asked her out, she had known Natsu for so long now. "Y-yes." She responded and was pulled into his strong arms, her head pressed against his chest as light tears of joy stung her eyes. The dragon felt so more and smelled of burnng ash, a smell she found pleasant. "Natsu!" She said with glee her voice slightly muffed. 

"Thank you, Lucy." The held her tighter, her heart fluttered and she snaked her arms around and held him until he let go an unknown time later, glancing at the night sky, a shooting star shot across it. "Our good luck star!" Lucy exclaimed pointing it out to Natsu, unaware the boy was watching her with a soft smile.

The next morning the sun rose warm and bright seeming to embrace the two new lovers as they walked into Fairy Tail hand in hand. The red-headed reequip mage looked up and saw the pair holding hands and smiled.  Within seconds the whole hall was cheering and clapping. "You're a real man!" Came a voice in the crowd. "Lushee!" came a high pitched voice as a blue cat flew at her, colliding with her breast. Lucy grabbed the small cat and held him in her arms. "I'm so happy!" the cat said and Lucy smiled. "It's about time!" Came a stern female voice. "I approve." She added. 
The blond mage couldn't help but giggle at the look of fear on her dragon slayers face as Erza spoke then relax as she approved. 
Many more comments were made and soon a party to celebrate had begun. 

The guild hall was crowded, new and old members gathered around, Mako was shaking Natsu's hand. "Congratulations brother!" Romeo walked over shoving his father out of the way. As Natsu became surrounded Lucy sought out one face within the hundreds when she found whom she was looking for, she smiled with relief. The white haired girl was smiling with a soft look in her eyes. The sliver haired girl walked over."I'm happy for you Lucy, take care of Natsu." She said. 
"I will." Lucy smiled, having known Lisanna still had some feeling for the dragons layer. 

A hush fell over the guild hall as the master walked towards them a beer mug in hand. "To Lucy and Natsu, may you someday wed!" His cheeks flushed from the drink, he was drunk. 
The heat rose in her cheeks as she glanced at Natsu who was smiling. She couldn't help but think the master was jumping the gun a little. She wanted to date her dragon slayer first, even if she already loved him, she wasn't sure she was ready for that step just yet. 

Lucy  felt elated by all that was going on.

"geehe." 

Natsu gently pulled her to him, planting his lips on hers, suddenly the guild hall and everyone disappeared as she closed her eyes, kissing her partner with great passion. It felt just as good if not better then their first kiss the night before.
