Chapter two

The dragon slayer still felt a little sick after the train ride home, he gazed at Lucy who had missed out on the job due to having the flu but there she stood on the platform her hand held up in a wave, greeting him on his return home. Slowly he made his way over to her and pulled her into his arms. "You should be at home." He mumbled into her ear. "I wanted to see you." The girl murmurs, her arms wrapped around him. "I missed you." She added. Squeezing her tighter, he closed his eyes. "I missed you too." He didn't like spending a week away from her, they were partners in more then one sense of the word. Pulling away slightly he looked deep into her eyes for just a few moment before pressing his lips to hers. "I love you." He said before he deepened the kiss.

The pair returned to her apartment, were Happy made himself comfortable at the table and started eating a fish. Natsu watched as the girl of his dreams started to fix something to eat then without a word he got up and walked over to her and started to help.
