Konnichiwa my name is...(Ryu)

I walk to the notice board on campus and look for who I would be rooming with. This year I'm supposed to room on floor 3 since I'm a second year. I find my name quickly since its at the top of the list and see who I'm rooming with.

Room 305 Yamada Ryuku/Yanagishita Tomo. Yanagishita Tomo... Is that a new student? I grab my stuff and head to the building. I climb up the stairs to the third floor and walk to the door that says 305. I can hear singing through the door so I knock to be polite. The door opens and a thin boy with black hair and blue eyes opens the door. His eyes aren't just a regular blue either. It has gold flecks in them too. It's amazing.

"Oh come in. You must be my room mate." 

"Hai." I say and he steps aside and let's me in. I set my bag down on the empty bed and start settling in.

"You have a nice voice." I say while arranging my shirts in my closet.

"Oh you heard me?" I turn and see him blushing.

"Hai. Don't worry. It wasn't bothersome. it was actually quite soothing." his blush deepens.

"Ah... Thank you. Youre very cute." I feel myself start blushing.

"Oh thanks. You're cute too. You have very interesting eyes."

"Yeah. Its because my mother is from the states and had blue eyes."

"Oh." I turn around and start hanging up my jackets.

"So are you a new student Yanagishita-san?"

"Hai. And you can be informal. I'm not a big fan of formalities."

"Oh okay. Don't be formal with me either." I turn around and walk to him. I hold my hand out.

"Let's have a good year okay?" His face loses color and he starts backing up.

"I'm sorry. But since we will be room mates I think you should know about the ground rules when it comes to me. No contact unless I initiate it and don't talk to me unless I initiate the conversation. Oh and keep at least a meter distance between us." I nod.

"Okay. What do you have? Human phobia or something?" he loses color even more. now he looked like he just saw a ghost. I start unpacking my pictures.

"Cool name huh? I made it up myself." I say.

"Hai. I'm sorry but I just remembered that I have something that I must do." I turn and see him running away.

"Yah wait Tomo!" He runs faster and is gone and out of sight in no time. I sigh and finish packing.
