Here I am, Once again

Liam’s P.O.V.

“It’s quite crowded today..” Harry sighed

We all sat in the van, parked in front of the shop. The shop was swarming with customers. Most of the customers were high school students and old ladies. What worried us most were the high school girls. They were the reason we weren’t able to get out of the van. If one of us were to be recognized hell would break loose and our plan would fail.

“Are we gonna wait?” Niall looked at me

I pursed my lips “I don’t know how long it will take for the most people to leave...” I frowned and looked at the giggling group of girls leaving the shop with a pink bag. A little smile formed on my lips as I watched them leave “So cute...”

“He look!” Zayn leaned forward pointing to one of the girls

We followed his finger and spotted the girl. A One Direction bag hung over her shoulders and her phone cover was a picture of Louis. We all beamed in satisfaction, as Louis laughed.

“Ha! Owned!” he lifted his thumbs up

“Shut it” Harry laughed

“I can’t help the fact that I’m perfect” Louis joked and we all laughed

“Guys...” Niall looked at us

“Oh right..uh..I don’t know..” I looked at him and back to the shop “You think she’s in?”

“Hey.. I have an idea...” Zayn rubbed his chin “I mean we don’t have to go all together...how about only one of us goes?”

“That’s a great idea....but who?” Louis said as he looked around

“Liam” Harry spoke up immediately

I frowned at the sound of my name “Why me?”

“Because” Harry looked at me “I think you have the best chance to not be recognized if you cover up good enough....I mean I was just lucky that the shop was empty that day”

“He’s right” Naill said and looked at me “We have to wait until the most people are gone though”

I looked outside and grabbed Harry’s beanie and shawl. We waited for a little while, playing games and being silly. We didn’t notice the time fly by because of our foolishness and the moment the rain started hitting the windows of the car was the moment Louis looked up.

“He guys..” We looked up at him

“I think the coast is pretty clear” He motioned towards the shop and we looked inside.

The teenage girls had all disappeared and only a few old ladies remained. There was a mother with her three little kids as well and she seemed to have a hard time keeping her son under control.

I put on the beanie and shawl and left the van. I was about to enter the shop when I halted....wait...I went back to the van and opened the door.

“What am I going to say?” I asked and looked at the guys

They all stared at me with a straight face and after a few seconds of silence I closed the door and went for the shop again....I’ll come up with something...

I entered the shop and was immediately stunned by the million different scents that slapped me in the face. I could understand why I could only see female customers walking in and out of the shop. It looked like a doll house.

I looked around the shop, awed by the chic yet modern interior. One of the, or actually the only, employees was helping the customers with their purchases. She looked like porcelain doll with her outfit and her big hazel eyes. I walked around looking at all the different kinds of pastry displayed. There was a sea of cupcakes, cakes and tarts but also chocolate, bonbons and some cookie looking round things in a gazillion colors.

Behind the counter I spotted the picture Harry had been talking about. That was definitely Lindsey alright, I’d recognize those eyes everywhere.

My attentions got torn away from the picture when the twinkling sound of the doorbell rang trough the shop followed by a familiar voice.

“Hi Diva~” the voice chirped

“Hey Kira!” The girl behind the counter greeted back

...Kira?.. I turned around in a flash only to be greeted by Kira’s ever so beaming smile...chance!..

“Kira!” I tried calling out to her softly but she didn’t hear me.

She walked passed me as she pulled her iPhone earplugs out of her ears...Figures... She placed her bag on one of the tables in the back and hung her jacket around a chair.

“Kira!” I softly called out again while I approached her “Thank God you’re here” I sighed

She looked up at me, a bit suspicious “Uhm...can I help you?”

“It’s me...” I whispered while pointing at myself.

“I’m sorry....do we...know each other?” she narrowed her eyes a bit

“It’s me.. Liam” I lowered my shawl to reveal my face a little

She gasped and stared at me with a shocked face and her mouth hung open.

I smiled a plastic Ta-Da smile at her and she shook her head.

“What are you doing here!?” She shrieked softly while glancing towards the counter

“It’s a long story... can you come with me for a second?”

She seemed to be completely lost “Come where?” she asked

“To the car” I pointed outside awkwardly

“Why...” she kept looking at me as if I was a ghost

“Oh Bloody hell, just come!” I grabbed her jacket and yanked her outside towards the car.

“Kira? Is everything oke?” I could hear the worried voice of the porcelain doll behind the counter call after us

“Huh? Yeah....” Kira vaguely said as she got dragged by me

I opened the door and motioned for her to get in and so she did, completely flustered.

“Kira!” Louis happily clapped when she entered

“What in the...” Kira blinked a few times “What the hell is this!?” she threw her hands up and looked around

“We saw you walking outside but you went into the shop so quickly there was nothing we could do..” Niall pouted, but Kira wasn’t listing.

She was staring blankly at something in front of her. I followed her dreamy gaze and found Zayn who was smiling at her.

“Nice to meet ya love” He winked

Kira blinked as her face and ears flushed completely red and I sighed “Kira!” I snapped my finger in front of her face. She blinked a few times and turned her attention back to me.

“huh? oh..yeah...right..” her eyebrows furrowed lightly.

We started telling her why we were here and with every part her eyes became wider and wider.

“So now we’ve found one half...all we need is the other to make Duo Penotti....” Louis nodded

Kira blinked a few times and then looked up at Louis “You guys are seriously creeping me out...”

The guys erupted in a fit of laughter and Niall spoke up “We didn’t ask you to show up so often...” he chuckled

“We showed up once at your concert like a billion other fans do...and then you guys decided to recognize May in the mall...we didn’t ask for that either..” Kira stated while shaking her head.

“She’s right..” Zayn confirmed and nodded

“See?” Kira pointed at Zayn as she looked at Niall with a meaningful look on her face “God agrees”

“God?” we wall repeated and looked at her

“I did not just say that out loud..” Kira cussed and sighed with her eyes closed. I could see her ears turning red again

“If I’m God then you must be one of my angels” Zayn winked at her

Way to go Casanova. I swear if steam could come out of her ears, the car would have become a sauna on wheels by now.

“Back to the point” I took off my shawl and beanie “You can help us get to her right?

“ofcourse I can..” she nodded with a smug smile “What do I get for it”

“Zayn” I decided

Harry erupted into laughter while Louis en Niall snickered. Zayn’s mouth hung open as he stared at me and Kira’s eyes went wide.

“I’m not a bloody product!”

“He’s not a bloody product!”

They both said in union and I chuckled “Just kidding”

Kira shook her head and opened the car door “Wait here, I’ll be right back.”

She was about to step into the rain when she halted and turned to us “Can I bring you guys something? Niall” she smiled mischievously

....Seriously, fans nowadays know everything...I chuckled.

Lindsey’s P.O.V

The wounds on my face had been the topic at school again. It wasn’t the first time and the rumors spread like fire once again. They didn’t even bother to call me to the principal’s office anymore, I always had a new excuse ready and the school board had officially stamped me as the clumsy one.

I hurried down the street towards the subway, I wanted to get away from here as fast as I could today. And the fact that it was still raining didn’t help at all. I closed my umbrella once I arrived and sprinted towards the Metro. It smelled like potatoes and my stomach started rumbling...great... and the stations couldn’t pass by any slower...seriously...it’s Friday, come on!..

I got out of the metro and headed home, my Ipod on blast as usual. I hummed along with the music as I approached my house. I opened the door and took off my shoes before taking off my jacket. Was it me or were there a lot of jackets hanging on the hat rack today....

“Mom....?” I called out as I kept looking at the pile of jackets.

“Welcome home sweety~” My mom coed happily as she walked towards me from the living room “How was school?”

“Yeah, fine..” I smiled at her “Nothing special..uhmm”

“Good” she nodded

“Mom..why are there so many jackets here...” I motioned towards the pile of jackets on the rack

“You have a bunch of visitors..” she said with a mischievous smile as she pointed upstairs.

“Visitors? Who?” I frowned at my mom and she shrugged “Who knows...” she smirked and disappeared into the living room again.

..What the hell was that?...I blinked a few times before turning to look upstairs.

I could hear a lot of voices coming from my room as I walked up, dragging my body along with me. The closer I got to my room the louder the sound of heavy conversations became. The voices of Diego, Kira and Ariana mixed into it.

I opened my door and stepped into the noise. I looked up only to be greeted by 8 smiling faces all spread across my floor. The floor my bag and jaw hit the moment I saw the five faces my mom called ‘visitors’.
