Like a dream

Lindsey’s P.O.V

Niall was squatting down in front of me with Harry standing by his side. Both of their stares fixated on my dress. But then he looked up at me and gave me a breathtaking smile.

“Hey mates! I think we found something interesting here” he called over to Louis, Liam and Zayn

Kira started fangirling and pulling my arm “OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!”

I was still way up in heaven to even hear what they were saying, and I didn’t really care...Niall smiled at me...at me...Holy Mother Maria....Thank you God...I can die very very VERY peacefully now...

“LINDSEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!??” Kira smacked my arm and I snapped out of my daze

I looked up and noticed Niall was holding his hand out to me as he smiled reassuringly. I starred at it for a while and then turned to Kira “What is he doing?”

Kira blinked at me with her mouth hanging half open.

I looked back at Niall and then noticed a guard standing in front of me on the other side of the fence. He held out his hand and I took it as he started helping me over the fence.

...wait..what...OH MY GOD!!... I finally realized what was happening and jumped over the fence.

Niall was still holding his hand out to me and I took it as soon as the guard lifted. The moment our skin touched, millions of fire crackers exploded inside of me...his hand is so soft....I think I’m gonna faint... I felt my face heat up, if that was even possible, and I smiled nervously at the boys.

“Hello there milady” Niall said and he smiled at me

“h-h-hi...” I trembled  ..oh god Lindsey contain yourself..

Liam was standing on my left as Niall kept his stance on my right. Harry was standing next to Niall with Louis hanging around his neck, as Zayn was standing next to Liam. Liam rested his hand on my back and smiled at me “There’s no need to feel nervous, love” he reassured me

...OMG KILL ME NOW!!! WHAT IS AIR!!...ERROR ERROR!!...I am seriously having trouble breathing... I smiled weakly at him as I tried my best not to freak out. I took a deep breath and glanced over at Kira, who was having a heart attack...crazy buffoon...I chuckled lightly

“See, that’s more like it” Zayn beamed at me

Our eyes met and I looked at the floor....oh dear....his eyes are so pretty....afgvajnsjahsjgbhsjda...

“May we ask you your name, beautiful” Harry’s low voice floated through my ears and I felt my knees weaken.

“uhm..uh...L-Lindsey....” I stuttered...Congratulations May, you win first prize AT SOUNDING LIKE A COMPLETE RETARD!!... I mentally face palmed myself.

“Well, Lindsey, we really like your dress” Liam smiled

My breath hitched and I looked up at him. His dark eyes were twinkling sweetly in the stage light and I immediately calmed down. “Thank you...” I bowed my head a little

“Our Niall has great eyes for fashion” Louis played, earning a slap from Niall

“Tell us Lindsey, are you here alone?” Liam asked

“No...I came here with my best friend, Kira”

“And are you two enjoying yourselves?” he asked and I nodded happily “How couldn’t we?”

“aaaaaaaawwwh” They all playfully awed in union

“Well Lin....can I call you Lin?” Zayn asked

“uhm..May please” I chuckled

“May?” Niall furrowed his eyebrows

“Yes, that’s my middle name” I smiled at him

“Well then, May” Zayn wormed his way to me and swung his arm over my shoulder...yeah, thanks a lot dude...thank you for confirming my death day...I glanced at Kira who gawked at me, eyes popping out of her head “Who....is your favorite member?”

My eyes widened at the question as all the girls in the hall started calling the name of their favorite. I stared at Zayn “How can you even ask that question!?” I completely forgot who I was talking to

He chuckled “Pretty Please..??”

I shook my head nervously and stared at the floor

“we really wanna know” Niall pouted

...DON’T DO THAT!!! ERROR ERROR!!!... “I like all of you...of course I have a favorite but I just don’t like picking....especially not in front of the person of matter.” I said honestly

“awh.. that’s so sweet” Louis smiled “We can live with that!” the guys all nodded

“What song would you like to hear next, May?” Harry asked

“Does it have to be a song from Take Me Home?” I asked hopefully, biting my bottom lip as I looked up at him.

“Why do you ask?” Harry narrowed his eyes playfully

“uhm...well...I..” I bit my lip “My favorite song is on Up All Night...”

“Well that’s no problem..right guys? ” He looked at the others and they shook their heads in response

“Not at all” Liam said “Which one is it?”

I looked at him “Stole my heart...” I blushed

“ahhhhh” Niall clapped in his hands “Well YOU stole our heart with your wonderful dress May, so we’re gonna steal yours with this song!”

I smiles softly and nodded once...there’s no need for that, you already have Niall...I lost myself in his everything

The other guys nodded and the girls in the concert hall started screaming again. They all gave me a hug and Niall took my hand as he led me back to Kira. The guard took me down and made sure I got back on my spot.

The moment I got back on my spot Kira jumped on me “HOLY MERCEDES LINDSEY YOU TALKED TO ONE DIRECTION TFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!....and Zayn had his arm around you...” She placed a kiss on my shoulder

I hugged her arm and rested my head in her neck...I couldn’t believe that just happened, It feels like a dream... I sighed as the music of my favorite song started playing.

Liam squatted down in front of me and winked as he flashed a smile. I thankfully smiled up at him as the sound of his voice and the melody of the song melted everything inside me like always.

He got up and left as Harry took over the lyrics and our eyes met once again.

He pointed at me as he tilted his head cutely and winked with an amused smile before joining the others again.

My day couldn’t get any better than this. I looked over to Kira who was beaming and jumping up and down, dancing on to the song...Thank you Kira...I love you so much...Thank you so much...

I looked back at the boys, enjoying every moment that god gave me as I let out a content sight, my body completely numb.

“MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG” I flew towards my mom, who was waiting for us by the car, and almost crashed into her. “ITWASSOCOOLANDTHEYWE’RESOSEXYANDNIALLWASSOCUTEANDNNOTTOMENTIONTHEIRVOICESAND--

“Lindsey! Breathe!” My mom caught me and looked at me with wide eyes.

I stopped talking and gasped for air

“Is it right for me to believe you had a good time?” she laughed

“Good? Mom, it was ama-zing!!” I beamed at her “AND YOU’RE NEVER GONNA BELIEVE THIS!!” I yelled

“Auntie, really, this day wrote history for us...especially for her” Kira said rolling her eyes towards me

“Ohke ohke! Calm down” mom chuckled “Tell me all about in on our way home”

We got inside the car and we told her every single detail of the event, from the girls in the waiting line liking your clothes to the me-getting-up-on-stage moments.

We got home and Kira and I hopped into the house blurting Stole My Heart at the top of our lungs as we held hands.

“Girls, girls keep it down!” my mom warned

We ran up the stairs and stumbled into my room. We twirled around but I stopped abruptly when I noticed somebody sitting on the bed. Ariana. Because of everything that happened in the past couple of hours, I had completely forgotten about her....I’m the worst sister ever...

“He sis...” I tried

She looked up at me and opened her mouth to say something.

“Now you listen here missy!” Kira walked up to Ariana and lowered herself until she was facing her as she balanced herself by holding on to the top bunk with one hand and pointed at Ariana with the other “And you listen to me good!”

Ariana shot back and stared at Kira with wide eyes

“Your sister has been through hell of a lot lately and she needed distraction. I am the one who suggested this and I am the one who got her the tickets! It’s MY fault that I didn’t think of you and it’s my fault that you didn’t go! So if you wanna be mad at someone then be mad at ME not Lindsey!” Kira stopped to catch her breath

“Ki, chill...I know..” Ariana said “Your mom was here today...I overheard her talking to my mom...so I’m not mad...severely jealous...but not mad”

Kira starred at Ariana at loss of words and stood back up as she looked at me

“And I don’t want to be mad at you...I wanna thank you...for doing something like that for my sister” Ariana continued as she hopped of the bed and smiled

I felt relief wash over my body and I smiled brightly at my little sister “so....how was it” she squealed
