Alec was out.
Alec was out and hunting some kind of dangerous monster Magnus wanted him to have no part of. However, as a Shadowhunter, he had no choice but to go. He would have to trust that Jace and Izzy would keep him safe.
It's a nerve wracking feeling. Anticipating Alec's return made Magnus pace throughout his apartment, clutching his cell phone in his hands. The last mission Alec went on resulted in a few bruises and a broken phone so even if Magnus wanted to call him, it would be useless. Throughout his pacing, he stepped on the end of Chairman's tail, causing the cat to hiss and run into another room away from its owner. Sighing, Magnus stopped pacing and sat down in the living room alone. He fell asleep there worrying.
The clock ticked, showing it was one in the morning. The place was quiet except Magnus's cool breaths and Chairman's subtle purring.
At one thirty in the morning, Alec came back to see his boyfriend asleep on the couch clutching a phone and pillow to his chest. As he attempted to fit on the couch as well he couldn't help but think, it's good to be home.

Each drabble is so cute!! To sum up--each is this lovely goodie bag of heaven that I could never imagine from a non-Asian fandom! I'm way too used to Korean fanfics /sob
And N1ghtshade, that poster is love. Although, I hadn't realized that Magnus is Asian in the movie...how did I miss that in the trailer?!
