Description

What do you see when you walk through your life? Adventure? Love? Family? Well, 87 year old, Essie Alvarez is reflecting back in her life. Telling her story to her care taker, taking a walk through her life, learning lessons that she never realized before, remembering forgotten memories, and bringing back happy and somber moments in her life.

This is my first Slice of Life story, ever, so I apologize if it's a little bad, I'll try my best to make this story as good as I intend it to be! ^^ Thank you for reading~!

Foreword

{The Beginning} --

"Essie, did you take your medication yet?" Josephine asked me, grabbing for my pills. I turned my head slowly to her and stuck out my hand, my hand was shaking slightly as I waited for 2 pills to fall into my hand. Waiting for consumptiong. "Here you go, Essie." Josephine handed me a glass of water, her hand under it, just in case if I dropped the glass.

"Did you forget to take them like last time?" she asked, sitting down next to me, recieveing the glass of water.

"Oh no, I'm just reflecting back on my life. Thinking about all my friends that have come and gone..." I replied.

"Well, we have time to kill, want to tell me?" Josephine asked.
