The Beginning ---

 

"Essie, did you take your medication yet?" Josephine asked me, grabbing for my pills. I turned my head slowly to her and stuck out my hand, my hand was shaking slightly as I waited for 2 pills to fall into my hand. Waiting for consumption. "Here you go, Essie." Josephine handed me a glass of water, her hand under it, just in case if I dropped the glass.

"Did you forget to take them like last time?" she asked, sitting down next to me, recieveing the glass of water.

"Oh no, I'm just reflecting back on my life. Thinking about all my friends that have come and gone..." I replied.

"Well, we have time to kill, want to tell me?" Josephine asked.

I blinked my eyes and smiled a bit, "You may have some time to kill but I certainly do not." Josephine chuckled, and put her hand on mine. Her eyes were warm and welcoming, interested in my life.

"You have a nice sense of humor. C'mon, tell me Essie." she tilted her head to the side and I gave in and returned the same warm smile.

"Well all right, let's begin when I was 6, in first grade. I met my first real friends and my frist crush then..." I started.
