The Prophecy

Chapter 2

Luke walked back and forth in his bedroom as he wavered the chances of getting caught. It was already pre-determined whether he liked it or not. 

He was the one the Kingdom has chosen to go and find her. And he has to go with it. The city has been in chaos the past hundred years when the old council turned on them and left with half of its population.

They fenced off the forest that went through the kingdom and claimed the side beyond it theirs. Everyone was beyond fumed, especially his parents and the people of noble.

They had no Idea as to why they would do that. Everyone was living happily one day, and the next it was as if the city was in mass destruction. 

Some say it was fate. Because the prophet had not been found yet. While others just thought that the councils were a bunch of hard heads who needed to be kicked out a long time ago.

And it was the right thing they had left. Or else this city would be way worse then it was right now. He walked towards the windows and looked beyond the lush green forest.

The view that he sees every day when he wakes up and every night before he goes to bed. He knew that she was some where out there.

It was dangerous, the mission he was given, but he had to go with it. The Nobles have already found out who the girl was. And If it got leaked out to the old council on the other side, war would break out and everyone would fight to death to grab ahold of this girl.

That was so precious to both of the cities, that she had to be handle with care. Her father Mr. Kim was found a few feet from the cities entrance 3 months ago with an old backpack swung on his back.

And a dehyrated body. He was sent by the Nobles to live in secrecy more than 25 years ago with his wife. After she gave birth to his daughter who later bore the necklace her mother had left The Nobles soon found out about her being the special one that they had been searching for the past 100 years.

It was written in the old book of gods that one day the real prophet would some how reveal themselves. And with that they would carry and necklace that would be used to save the diminishing city from crumbling down.

No one knew when, but all that they knew was that the time was coming closer. The calender left has given them the time of 65 days until this city would fall down to what no one knows.

And in that 65 days. They would need to find her and the necklace to save this place from doom. Or else, its bye bye forever.
