There are a select few moments when you make my blood boil. When you take pictures of me, when I clearly state I don’t like it. You cheekily smile just to get away with it but trust me you’re not forgiven
When you deliberately put your arms over my shoulders or hug me, because you know I hate it. Are you purposely looking for enemies?
Realise amongst the utter silence, the words I spoke weren’t just a joke and that when I finally pop, you'll be the first to hear it
That those empty threats you shrug off will become the harsh reality. That you finally realised you have messed with the wrong girl. That all those times peace wasn’t my destination but anger
You’ll be the first to feel the heat, the intensity of the fire that roars through my muscles and limbs. You’ll see the steam from the kettle and the strong smell of burnt skin
When I final erupt beware of the devil that will emerge. Beware of the danger of which I will enclose on you. But most of all beware of the girl you thought you knew too well
