So as I was saying before, JJ, this new guy, came waltzing into my class and 'graciously', as Lillian described it, sat down at a desk right next to me, sure it was empty but I didn't want this guy next to me, anyone else but him.

I even would have sat next to Eric, a creepy guy who was held back for a year and had an attitude about everything. Rumour has it that he has a pet goat.

The reason I knew that he was a new student was because he was wearing the new uniform that just came out last week, those who had already bought it had to buy a new one which would cost about a thousand dollars, can't we just wear casual clothes?!

Personally, I think the uniforms are BLECH! But I've never said this to anyone, my 'outer character' forbids it. I have two personalities, the 'inside' one which is the real me and the 'outer' one which is kind of like my defensive and offensive armor, I was born this way, too shy to tell others about my thoughts and feelings. Maybe that's why I don't have a boyfriend......

So anyway, this guy was wearing the brand new uniform which, I had to admit, made him look a lot better than the sloppy boys at our school, for one thing, he was wearing a TIE, a perfect triangular tie, which, from my experience, is pretty hard to make.

"Hey! Can we swap seats? Please!? I want to sit next to him, please?" Lillian whispered. She was trying to maneuver herself into a position that would let her catch a glimpse of his face and immediently I could tell that she was acting strangely.

"Hi! My name is Lillian, what's yours?" She said towards the boy, he looked about 14....

I was actually really surprised when he answered her. "I can't tell you my name." Normally boys would drool over Lillian, she was actually really pretty if you looked past her crazy personality.

The way he said it sent shivers down my spine and I looked at him through the corner of my eye and was shocked when I saw his eyes looking deep into mine, slightly blushing, I quickly looked away.

"But I can definitely tell your friend my name."

I rolled my eyes and this time, turned my head to face him. " Excuse me? Your name? I couldn't care less."

The bell for lunch rang and I grabbed my books and walked out of the door leaving him staring at my back.
