BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
Kyoko's eyes shot open at the sound of the alarm going off. Makoto, laying beside her, reached over to sleepily hit the snooze button. He groaned, obviously not too happy with the idea of having to get up just yet. The detective rolled her eyes fondly, a yawn escaping her lips. She wouldn't mind staying in bed either, really.
"Makoto," she said, in a sweet and gentle voice, "it's morning now."
"But I don't wanna get up yet," the headmaster grumbled, recoiling into the blankets. The lavender-haired woman just sighed, pretending to be irritated. She grabbed her phone, which had been sitting on the end table next to their bed. She switched it on. It was a Saturday. She glanced over at her husband before placing the cellphone back down on the table.
"We can afford to sleep in today," she mumbled, pulling the blanket back over herself and her spouse. It wasn't long until she had dozed off again.
